hi I asked this question before. but since then I've revised and I was wondering if anyone can tell me their opinion about this...especially about the characters, can you tell me who you sticks out to you most/what reasons/ any guesses to motivation. basically any feedback would be welcome though :)

Hi, okay. So this is the beginning of my 3rd chapter and the first one of a different POV. I literally hate it...i'm not sure if its just a phase of hating my work or it is actually terrible? Any thoughts?

“Marriages?”

Alayn Hugone stopped mid-stroke and looked up, incredulously, at the boy he would now call king.

A thick globule of ink welled in his quill’s nibbed edge and smeared the parchment before him and the boy-king stared back; cool, calm and not at all joking.

In the corner Yuri raised an eyebrow. The boy-king, Garrard Dellian, son of Edmund Dellian and crown prince in Rhinecaster, was not in the practice of repeating himself.

She waited for me in the darkest thicket of the forest. The pines and oaks grew so heavy I could hardly see her, but I knew she was there. I knew it as sure as I could smell ferric rust falling off diseased fig trees or hear the soft pant of saltwater lapping in a crystalline pond. I knew it from the way my knees buckled as I drew nearer and nearer to the lonely little niche where she sat, surrounded by flowers and bathing in golden light.

how much do you LOL every time a white person [or a moron of any colour] says this crap or smtg like it to you

because I am 112.5-115 [depending on bloating which I get a lot] and 5ft 4inchs. I personally think I am overweight but that isn't what my bmi tells me. I'm trying to cut down on calories and start doing more than yoga/dancing but its difficult bcs already my daily calorie intake varies from maybe 900-1,040 calories...and a lot of that is coffee/milk. I can't eat more than at MOST 2 and a half meals a day without feeling like i'm gunna puke...what should be a game plan for health?

okay so in my novel I have ongoing themes/motifs involving the 'relationship between femininity and the darker side of nature [e.i the power of lifegiving [motherhood], the womb as the centre of life, ext.]', karma, lost youth/wasted beauty, and the importance of art in life....are there any themes/motifs from your life experience that I can use?
