As the non-custodial parent, how can I obtain my children's social security number?
I am a non-custodial father trying to obtain my children's social security numbers from their mother so I can file taxes. Reason being is that I have a shiney new court order, that says I can claim my children on my taxes due to the fact that the mother has been unemployed all year and I pay child support. The dept of child support enforcement will not give me any info so I was hoping I could at least get a lead on here. Thanks.
