  • What's wrong with my internet?

    My internet is rather annoying to say the least...

    Sometimes it will connect and stay connected for a week straight. Then other times it will be constantly disconnected unless I unplug it, plug it back in, wait for it to connect, and it will stay up for about a minute or so, before disconnecting. The phone also gives a slight cracking noise recently so I'm wondering if it's the house's wiring, but the phone line works and is tolerable.

    We have a wired phone so there's no interference from that, and BT gave a 100% phone line connection recently, so it's not their fault.

    Rather than calling my ISP straight away I'd like to know if anyone could help me here, since I don't want to wait for 3 hours on the phone for them to tell me to unplug the unit and plug it back in.

  • Thinking of upgrading my PC, HELP?

    Hi, I have a Compaq Presario, I use it hell of alot!

    I really need to upgrade things like RAM and stuff to make it faster because the antivirus and programs running sometimes "bottleneck" or whatever the phrase is.

    Ok, so my PC specifications are:

    AMD Sempron processor

    3000+ (Whatever that is.....)

    1.79 GHz, 448MB of RAM

    Physical Adress Extention.

    I'm running XP Service Pack 3 and I really want to upgrade my PC components or get a new, up-to-date PC.

    Just wondering if anyone has any advice on what I should add to make my PC faster and better.

  • what game shoul i get next????

    ok so i am a ps3 owner and have already got call of duty 4, ea skate and orange box. i am sort of waiting for GTAIV and GT5(I know its a while)to come out but ive been playing cod alot and maybe need something to keep me going for a while. i am connected to the net and games i have been into previously are well gta basically and i luv COD4- oh yea portal was amazing!!! i hate fifa and team sport games and also cartoony games
