60 mph and when one applies pressure to turn the wheel right or left. Passenger side seems to shake most but tie rods seem secure.

the engine should start in nuetral shouldn't it. I pressed the brake down and still no go. I am trying to narrow down the problem. It would help is some people provided an email address instead of my having to keep posting questions and answers like this. Also does anyone know a cheap but reliable mechanic near Canton, Ohio

See my earlier question. It will not start and from what I am seeing it might be the switch, it has not been staying in park and has been difficult to get into park

how do i check to see if the neutral/park safety switch is working

Turn the ignition, dashboard kites up with the normal engine check light etc...but the starter will not turn over or even make a sound. Previously I have normally had to turn the ignition, wait a moment and turn it again to get the starter to turn over. need any help I can get asap. Battery is good. Terminals on battery are tight.

A buddy of mine is saying it is the solenoid.

To my knowledge, the battery goes to the ignition, from the ignition it goes to the solenoid, from the solenoid it runs to the starter.

I am not even getting the traditional clicking from the starter. The s-10 is in my garage/basement so it is not cold enough to freeze it out.

van's engine will rev and increase in speed, but the van makes an aweful grinding noise that sounds like the flywheel is rubbing. Every now and then it will grab and move at an increasing speed, but otherwise it just crawls along.
