My daughter had her friend's mom pick her up form another girl's house and take her to their house which is about 15 miles from where we live. This woman did not once come to me and ask me if she could take my daughter out of town and I could not find my daughter. This happened on Friday night, my daughter was supposed to spend the night with one friend, but had the other girl's mother pick her up there. Saturday night the only coimmunication I had with my daughter was thru texting and she would not tell me exactly where she was. I had to file a police report and then sunday morning I had to do a missing persons report. When they finally contacted the girl's mother and found that my daughter was there, the mother said "well, idf someone would have called me I would have known." I had no phone number for this mother, and she should have come and talked to me before she even left with my daughter on Friday night. The cops told me if the mother says that my daughter told her I gave her permission, they cannot charge her. Excuse me, she was harboring a runaway in sorts. Also, I feel that could be kind of classified as kidnapping. My daughter is 15, not an adult. I am calling the prosecutor becuase I feel this mother should be charged with assisting my daughter in being delinquent.

In February my son and his half brother went onto the roof of a business to skateboard. They got caught and was supposed to be charged with criminal trespassing. Well, their father and I recieved a summons that we were both being charged with a first degree misdemeanor of contributing, saying that we did not supervise our son. He has two counts because both oys are his. What do you think will come out of this? I was babysitting, and let my son and his half brother go play for awhile. They were supposed to be going to an empty parking lot here in town to skateboard, but I got the call from the police syaing they had been on this roof to skateboard. Neither of the two boys got into trouble but we, as parents, are charged. I plan on pleading not guilty, because I did nothing wrong. My son is 11 years olds and I let him go play away from home as all parents let their ids leave. Do you think that this is fair? How is it going to teach my son that there are consequences when you do something wrong?

I wa sjust wondering if anyone has had a change in their status. It is working on 8 weeks for me, still shows 1121 and the IRS rep told me it is still in review, if I dont recieve my money or another notice next week to call back. I know there are a lot of us out there in this position, but nobody is really posting anything on Answers about it. We must all be giving up on getting what is rightfully ours. Let me know if you have any new info or finally got your refund and how long it took. I efiled on 01/16, it tis now 03/10 and still nothing

I took my 5 year old son to emergency room yesterday morning. He was running a fever and throwing up. He has asthma and has an allergy of trimox which is a form of penicillin, his dad is allergic to penicillin and so is his older sister. I told them this and they put the orange allergy band on him with PCN which of course lets nurses and doctors know he is allergic to penicillin. Well, he has Strep throat and the er doctor prescribed him penicillin. The pharmacy where I get prescriptions filled had a red flag when they started to fill his prescription. Needless to say, they did not fill it and I called his doctor to have them phone him in another prescription for an antibiotic other than penicillin. Do you think I could do anything about this? If the pharmacy would not have caught this, My son could have had severe reactions to this medicine.

My 2008 tax return has been in review since 02/06. No new news. Recieved my CP05 dated February 23 and they tell me it is 30 to 45 days from the date of the letter before I either get my money or another letter wanting more info or proof for EIC. My origiinal dd date was 01/30 and it changed so many times. I was just wondering if anyone out there has any new info or has actually gotten their money after being in review

Does anyone that has their return in review or has a code on the WMR or a delay in refund have nay new info? Just curious to see what mya be going on or if anything has changed. Nothing new with mine and it has been a month now cause my federal return was accepted on 01/18

I am sure that I will get some mean and stupid answers, as always, but does it really make sense to you... If someone qualifies for the FTHBC, and they of course have to pay it back to the government over the years, then why are they being so rough on taxpayers who do qualify? I know their is a lot of fraud committed thru the IRS every year, but this does have to be paid back. It is not free money even though it is interest free. Now, if the law definitely passes that the $8000 credit for homes bought in 2009 does not have to be paid back, I can see the IRS scrutinizing those returns more closely.

Does anyon who had their refund pulled for a review no why? I have read that some poeple recieved part of their money but not all of it and the part theu recieved is the part in question. I dont think it is the first time home buyer credit like some people say because my sister got that credit and she got her money on the 3rd. They siad they found a mistake on my EIC, I have 4 children, but on Turbotax it said if you lived in a state where they claimed a natural disaster you could use 2007's income if it was higher thn 2008. Ohio was on the list and I live in Ohio ( and we had problems from the big storms last fall), so I chose yes. Well, the IRS said I could not and changed my EIC back. So I feel this was Turbotax's fault. I live in Ohio and they had Ohio on the list. Now my return was pulled and it is not right. My children are 14,11 and 5 adn I have been claiming each kid every year since they were born. It should not take that long to verify this. I do not understand if and why you would have to send in proof for your children, if you do, because they should be able to check with Social Security, it IS all government. It is just plain crazy.

I had an actual dd date last week of 02/06, and I go thru SBBT because of filing fees, which I do not normally do, I just used the wrong Turbotax edition. Anyhow, I have not gotten my refund, SBBT has not recieved funds for me, WMR still says was deposited on 02/06. Has anyone that has had an actual dd date not gotten their refund?

I was just wondering if anyone with an actual dd date has NOT recieved refund. Or if it said deposited on 30th but didnt recieve it til a week or so later. WMR says mine was deposited 02/06 but when I call, one lady said it WAS sent, the 2nd time she said it was not snet and that they are still looking at it? They are really not together this year. this is horrible. I know there are people who will answer this with something like dont rely on this, pay your bills or whatever, well things happen in peoples lives that are unforeseen adn you HAVE to rely on times like this. Oh, by the way, the IRS lady I spoke with this morning said her return was supposed to be dd on 01/30 and hers keeps getting put off too. She said she is a single filer, nothing complicated and hers is delayed

A work at home job that is for real and that you dont have to py money up front to start? It is hard finding a babysitter and if there was a legit work at home job i would be interested

If it is up for review why haven't they refunded the part of my money that is nt in question or whatever. I see that a lot of people recieved at least part of their mooney. I don't understand why if mine is in review, why I did not get partial. The WMR says it was deposited on 02/06 and the CSR I spoke with said it was sent o0ut, there is no other info. My refund wuill go thru SBBT so they can take their filing fees out and then they will transfer to my bank. On Friday 02/06 they said they did not recieve any money from me when they got their batch of refunds. I know with some banks their are posting delays, but this is SBBT and most people on here who went thru SBBT got their money. Does anyone have any ideas at all?

I was just wondering if anyone had an actula DD date on the WMR but never recieved their income. Mine said my refund WAS DD on 02/06, but no money, I go thru SBBT for filing fees and they did not recieve any money for me. They said next Friday. How can that be when the IRS said my refund WAS deposited.

I called IRS once and was told it was not sent and that it was in review, I called 2nd time and IRS rep told me my refund WAS sent there is nothing else on my account about anything but that my refund WAS sent. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

My refund was supposed to be direct deposit TODAY. Not in the back. Called IRS, got a nice lady(surprisingly) my return was pulled for Quality Review. Does anyone know what this is? It could be another 3 weeks now. You know, nothing like this crap happened while Bush was President and everyone wants to down him. I have never seen such delays or anything this bad. Yeah, Obama has only been in for what 2 weeks, but he has changed so much crap now we are all having problems? Well, lets just worry about the economy failing and hold peoples income tax returns so they cant pay their bills, lose their homes, etc

My refund was to be DD today from the IRS, it is to go to SBBT then to me, but I have nothing and SBBT has nothing does anyone else have this problem? I suppose I will have to make the long phone call to the IRS and see what is up. Delayed a week, now have my money refunded and still have to wait. This sucks

Is anyone else having this problem? The IRS says my money will be deposited on 02/06, I go thru SBBT but they say they have not recieved anything. Other people who have a DD of 02/06 sya their SBBT account shows the money too. I was excited about finally getting my money, now it doesnt seem Like I will be getting it

If efile is supposed to take 3 weeks to process, than most of us who had our DD pushed back has already had the 3 week wait by the 10th. My return was accepted on the 18th, add 3 weeks and that makes the 8th(well, actually the 9th cause the 8th is on Sunday), and now I read on here that people are getting their dates changed AGAIN. People want to be rude to those of us who have had our dates changed, well, to these people I say you have either gotten your refund already, dont have a family to support or are just plain rich. Most of us need this money to keep things going and that is why we keep asking questions. We are trying to find out if anyone else is going thru what we are or if anyone else has heard anything new.

My return was accepted 01/18 with a DD date of 01/30 but date was changed to 02/10. I helped someone else do their taxes just last week, I believe they were accepted on last Thursday. Her status on WMR now shows hers is to be deopsited on 02/06, and mine still shows nothing different. She is a single filer with a little bit of eic. I have 3 children, eic no rebate recovery credit and filed HOH. This is crazy that I have to wait like so mnay other people getting our dates changed. Has anyone had a status change yet who have had their date pushed back to 02/10
