98 Mustang GT losing fuel pressure.?
It has the 4.6 litre engine. It starts and runs fine for 30 seconds to 1 minute then suddenly loses fuel pressure, sputters and dies. I've hot wired the pump from the battery and it runs fine and continuous so its not the pump. For some reason it loses power to the pump through it's normal circuit. I changed out the CCRM, containing the pump relay, with a new one with no joy.
Also changed the crank position sensor and IAC. Does this sound like a faulty PCM? What tells the PCM to open or close the pump relay?
Scanner shows no codes and it passes KOEO and KOER tests with no faults.
Live data shows Fuel Sys 1 first with closed loop, then open loop, then closed loop continuously.
I've google the heck out of this problem with no results, so this is my last hope before going to the dealer.
