Something I have always wondered. I have a 60mbps internet connection, but only download files at no more than 7.5mbps and upload at no more than 3mbps. Why is this? Why do I not find my downloads zooming at 60mbps and my uploads doing the same?

Any network technicians can help me finally find an answer to this? Thank you.

I have two Miniature Dachshunds, one female at just over 6 months, one male coming close to five months. They managed to eat some paracetamol (I put it on a side I originally deemed out of reach but one of them have learned to climb). Anyway, they went to the vets, had induced vomiting, blood tests, liver function tests and a fluids drip, but was deemed okay enough to not have the paracetamol antidote.

They were sent home with a week's course of Hepatosyl Plus, to stop the liver cells from breaking down if any toxins are left in their system. I gave them their tablet earlier and one of the tablets were not ingested and ended up on the floor. Usually it's the female who spits it out so I gave it to her, but now, although I'm sure I made the right choice, I am worried of the "what if."

Now I know Hepatosyl Plus is a supplement so not really a medication, but should I be worried if she has been overdosed? The male is on 100mg and the female is on 50mg, so she would have been overdosed by 200%.

I'm looking for a lens for my Sony A65 to take with me on vacation to Florida. I will be using it for both video and photos. I have researched back and forth both lenses and I just can't make a decision.

I would like the opinions of people who have had experiences with these lenses, but anyone's feedback is welcome.

I figured the more zoom, the better, but I would like to make my choice based on image quality and other stats like autofocus speed and noise, as I will be using this lens in Busch gardens, seaworld, etc as well as general pictures and videos of me and my fiancée.

I do not have plans to use an external microphone, so the tamron's Piezo Drive is tempting for videos, but if the Sony is substantially better in quality, then that will sway me towards that lens more.

Help me make my choice :)

So I'm going to a book-signing tomorrow for Lee Evans and I was just wondering what sort of etiquette I should portray. I've never been to a book-signing or met a celebrity, and I can't think for the life of me how I should act that doesn't make me seem weird or common.

So I am asking how I should act when at a book-signing. Do I talk to the celebrity and engage in small talk, or do I talk about his work. Also, is it okay to ask for a photo?

I'm not usually socially-awkward, but I do get star-struck easily.

So I want to inflate my tyres, they are looking a little deflated. The tyres I have came on the car when I brought it, and they are not manufacturer standard. I can't find the label that tells me the recommended pressures and websites I have looked on only tell me the pressures for the car's standard tyres.

My tyres are: 225/45ZR17 W94. Maximum Pressure (on side of tyre) is 50PSI.

Can someone please let me know what pressure I should set my tyres to and how to work this out on my own in future, if possible. Also if anyone can tell me where my label (to show pressures) should be on my car, that would be great.

I'm travelling to Florida from UK the end of April. I am looking to exchange my GBP (£) to USD ($) tomorrow, but don't know if I'm doing it too early. I'm going to be using two prepaid cards and a little cash. It's just over a month before I travel. Am I doing this too early, or is this about the time you would sort out something like this for a holiday?

I'm from the UK, and I am due to go on my first holiday to Florida in April.

My question is, when I get off the plane and am waiting in line at customs to be either allowed or denied entry, what do I need to hold in my hand to show to the customs agent? Is it my passport only? or my passport and ESTA form? Or both of those and the green ESTA form I may have to fill out on the plane? What is it?

I hate how our economy is at the moment, I know at least 4 benefit cheats, who are either on the national sick pay for a made up illness, cheating a house out of our government because they say they are caring for someone they are not, or even just stealing that little extra from our nation's pockets in any way they can.

I am SICK of it, I pay more per week in tax than I earn, and this election year, I am looking for my vote to go to whoever is going to crack down on all of this.

So I ask, out of all the election parties, who would best deserve my vote because they are being a lot harsher on benefits and benefit fraud than what is currently in place?

I am looking to buy a Blackberry Bold 9700 but after a quick google search, I have been led to believe that the text messaging on it is no more than 160 characters, like old phones. Now is that true or is it concatenated or "split" into several 160 character messages, much like modern phones?

I am wondering because I would like to buy one.

The iPod Nano 5th Generation is the one with the video camera; the latest one released.

I would like a dock that is able to be used remotely via a remote control. And that can be used as an alarm clock with my iPod songs as the alarm sound.

I have NO expirience with iPod docks as this one will be my first, but all I know is, they can be awkward with compatibility.

My girlfriend and I have been together for 6 months and she knows and understands that sometimes I get hung up on her relationship with her ex-boyfriend. She understands this and although it doesn't happen much, she is always there assuring me that it doesn't matter if it bothers me because she would be the same if I had an ex-girlfriend.

Hopefully you understood that, but now onto my question:

She has found this one photo, her last photo of him and her together. She got rid of all of them, but couldn't find this last photo to destroy.

Now she has found it and given me the choice whether I want to see it or not, and I'm conflicted.

Seeing it would end my curiosity, but at the same time, I may start visualizing them together, when I can put a face to the name.

What should I do?

My friend's mother was unfairly dismissed after she took some time off. She had seemingly good reason to do so as she was attacked by a patient who suffered with mental disabilities.

Can she appeal her dismissal? Does she have a court case if she wanted to take it further?

My dog is about 12, she is a cross-terrier between a Yorkshire and, at a guess, a Jack Russel? lol.

Anyway, Obviously I should be aware of her being in season after having her for so long, but....

Before I went to work this morning, I found her chewing on a wire-tie thing, you know the things that wires are secured with when packaged? She usually does this and has done for a good 5 years now, so I thought nothing of it... After chewing this wire, she proceeded to act as if something was stuck in her teeth; again, a regular occurance. I checked out her teeth, they seemed fine and she soon settled.

Now I come home and everything seems normal, after a few hours I turn round to see her lying on my bed, and also, there is a large patch of urine, but inside that patch there is blood, also, dotted around my bed, is patches of JUST blood.

Now I don't know whether this means she is in season and was confused and went to the bathroom (because this is her first blood, as you dog owners will know, there are generally multiple bloods) or whether that wire she was chewing on, she swallowed and its causing damage to her insides.

How will I know which it is, and how do I check? I'm worried :(

...when importing an Audio CD.

I have had my PS3 for about 8-10 months now, and I have had ZERO problems with it, as you expect from a Sony Product...

But I have only just Imported a CD on it so I can have the songs stored on the HDD, its being done now but as the CD spooled up, it made a LOUD buzzing noise, like the disk was not properly on the spindle or was spinning too fast.

I'm not saying that was the case, I'm just saying it sounded like it.

What could it be? Is it just my PS3 or every one?

Ok so, I've recently started work in McDonalds, and recieve pay every 2 weeks via Bank Giro Credit. I was paid twice fine, no problems, but my last pay was never put into my bank account.

I asked my boss about it, but she said its a problem with my bank account. She said that there is nothing she can do.

Is this correct? Is there anything I can do to pursuade her to actually check and to stop being so tight with her money? Am I looking at a legal case?
