In the past I have had problems getting a headset that is compatible with windows so I have always ended up with Microsoft brand ones as they always tell you what versions of windows they work on, I am wanting to get a new one but I can't seem to find what versions of windows that they are compatible with...any help?

I'm starting to play some of the older versions of minecraft,beta 1.3,1.7 etc. anyone know if there is somewhere where I can still download mods for some of the beta version of minecraft

Having just bought Lego batman 2 as well as the heroes dlc on the Lego sale it has a message on the main menu that said the villains dlc was available on psn store and I want to get it but it doesn't appear to be there. I have pre-loaded the game resident evil revelations,it is being released in the UK(where i live) on the 24th and the 21st in america.I have heard that if i have pre-loaded it using steam then i can play on the american release date is this true or will i have to wait till Friday?

Up untill about a week ago i could easily record minecraft using fraps and now all of a sudden when i open fraps while running minecraft the fps indicator has a small black background and when i go to record minecraft either fraps crashes or if it doesn't,minecraft decides it will instead, any help do i have to have fraps on any particular settings to record java based things?

i am considering buying some of the old doom games so that i can record them for youtube however i am not sure if it can be done using fraps and i already have them on psone and ps3 so it would be pointless if i couldn't record me playing it

I am wanting play the the herobrines return adventure map with my mate however i cant get the texture pak that is recommened to work, it is 32x texture pack but i have optifine installed so it should work, all items and blocks seem fine in my inventory but when cobblestone is placed it said missing texture, any ideas on what i am doing wrong.P.S. on the website and the download said it was 1.5 so no problems there

I am trying to make map, for this map to work i need it so mobs don't spawn naturally but will spawn if mob spawner cage is used, how do i do this?

I am using fraps to record gameplays however if you are a fraps user you well may know that videos get quite big on scaled ratio of about 1gb per minute of video footage, what i am wanting to know if there is a way of making these videos smaller without loosing quality of video

i have recently started recording gameplays for my youtube channel and at the moment am using only free or free trial software, i have tried the fraps trial and found it to be the best but not sure if worth the £25 or if safe to buy it from the website. so to conclude is it safe to buy it from http://www.fraps.com/ and is it worth the price tag,is the better software for cheaper

earlier today i set up my new gaming channel and was wanting to know how i could go about advertising my channel to gain more viewers and subscriber, now i don't want to advertise in the comment sections of someone else's video or anything like that so any suggestions on the matter

P.S. telling me to be funny etc. will not help i know this but obviously that isn't enough most of the big youtubers didn't just rely on the use of being funny they used things like compatitions but before directors programs and stuff i need some sort of viewer base

So far i have worked out that the first dlc pack for black ops 2 will cost roughly between £9.99 and £13.99 however since activision don't know how to convert from dollars or Microsoft points into pounds then i can't be certain.Does anyone have official proof of the price for the UK playstation store

Currently on minecraft i have the mods;Tropicraft, portalcraft and the gravity gun mod installed.

I was wondering if their was a texture pack that works for all 3 of these mods.

.P.S. Since i have already installed these mods i was hoping i wouldn't have to use mc patcher or optifine etc.

so a normal texture pack (none HD) would be appreciated

To unlock everything in game as well as trophies i need to complete all of the optional missions, this includes co-op missions unfortunately don't know anyone with the game...any takers for some co-op games

I'm currently living in the UK and was annoyed at EA for 2 reasons:

1.America get the game 3 days before us

2.and WHY THE **** HAS EA RELEASED THE DLC FOR A GAME THAT ISN'T OUT YET WTF!

A couple of years ago i got the orange box for ps3 on that copy of half life 2 since you were using a ps3 controller they changed the hud used for changing guns to a cross shape corresponding to the directional buttons. i was wondering would it be possible to make it like this on the pc version of the game so i can use my ps3 controller
