  • Anyone else hate DirectTV?

Should I be mad at DirectTV ?

A year and a half ago I signed a 2 yr contract which included the highly desireable feature of "OnDemand" free movies and programs. Not long ago they discontinued this feature and replaced it with CINEMAplus which for me requires buying a router and paying for extra installation. And that would only give me the new feature on one of my tv sets. I refuse to shell out any more money to this already expensive satellite tv provider, and they won't let me out of my contract without paying hundreds in early termination fees! Wouldn't YOU be upset, too? (I'm a retired senior citizen on limited income)

  • Is Obama deliberately sabotaging the Oil Industry?

Call me paranoid, but I am now of the belief that Obama and fellow eco-Goons are responsible for blowing up the oil rig and this latest incident with the tugboat running into a wellhead and creating a geyser of oil shooting up into the air off Louisiana. Think about it! Obama's slow response to the oil rig disaster, his lame leadership including never bringing FEMA in to respond to it, his inexplicable shutting down of all deep sea oil production which put thousands of people out of work in a recession and his appeal when a judge ruled that those shutdowns were completely unnecessary. I believe he is doing all of this in order to make the public cringe at the thought of "OIL"!

  • Why did you vote for Obama?

This has puzzled me no end. Even during the presidential campaign I saw people interviewed on the street who were pro-Obama, and they were asked if they could list ANY accomplishment of his besides being a great speaker. Not one person could name even one. Now those interviews could've been edited by conservatives, so I'll ask here. (I'm an independent, by the way)

If you voted for Obama, what accomplishment of his can you point to as your reason for supporting him?
