My dog has been driving me crazy lately by constantly itching and especially chewing on her paws. I've read up on the dermatitis and allergies and all that. I'm pretty sure it's seasonal allergies since it's just flared up now that we've gotten some rain the grass has grown back. But does anyone know if Nutro Lamb and Rice formula is a fairly hypoallergenic food? I know it could be a food allergy too so I'd like to rule that out as well. Otherwise, we'll try all the shampoo and vitamin remedies until her vet appointment. Thanks!

I want to put up a trellis and train clematis and roses on it. I bought two multi-blue clematis plants and just noticed that I have a smallish climbing rose in my back yard (my first spring in this house) that I'll transplant in the fall (it's blooming beautiful now). My question is how high can I expect my clematis to grow this summer (about 6 inches tall now)? And when I transplant my roses this fall should I train it to the trellis or lay it on the ground and protect it for the winter? I live in mid-Michigan if it's of any help.

I know it's aweful but how long did it take you to become really cynical of people? I've been in health care for over 7 years now and it seems like over half the people I see are either drug or attention seeking. I'd love to get back to my more compassionate roots...but it's hard! Advice? Empathy?

I had a $129 final cable bill that went to collections about 3 1/2 years ago and was immediately paid in full. Last spring there was a negative entry from this same cable company under a different collection agency in the amount of $39. I called the collection company who said "You owe it" and the company who had bought the cable company who wouldn't talk to me. I sent a letter to the collection agency along with my canceled check and their response was the the account number I had paid on didn't match the account number they had listed. Well neither their account number or the account number from the previous agency matched my actual account number. I've asked them to prove this debt and all the send me is a letter saying it's "verified" but no statements. I challenged it on my credit report and they say it's verified with the agency. Should I just pay it or can I make them prove this debt? It's the only remaining negative after some hard learned credit lessons. Advice?

Oh my....well I just tried to hang a window scarf in my home office and it looks AWFUL! I mean seriously bad. Does anyone have any good suggestions for window treatments? It needs to be something light weight. I just spent an hour wrestling with the curtain rod to get it installed and I'm not about to take it down. I really would rather not hang blinds in here either. It's a smallish room....just 10.5 ft x 12 ft and this is the only window in it. The window itself is almost 5ft wide by 3 ft long. The room is painted Behr Athenian Green and I have kind of an Asian zen/natural feeling going. Any ideas would be great. Thanks!

I dated and even lived with a guy for about 3 years. It's been over 5 years since I left him. It was a bad relationship, very verbally abusive. I found out he tried to contact me last summer and lately I've been trying to look him up online. I almost feel like I need to tell him how wonderful my life has turned out despite everything he tried to do to me. He was so terrible to me it really messed with my self esteem. I'm afraid that I won't ever feel like I'll have closure if I don't do this but I don't want to open up a whole can of worms with him. What should I do?
