trying to love

Just thought it was unusual that half way through the film, a new student pops up and they never introduce her/him. Did I miss something?

Ok, I'm confused. My midwife uses the wheel and tells me I'm 13 wks pregnant. The pregnancy websites tell me I'm 14 wks and when I count weeks from my LMP, I get yet another figure.

How do you calculate how pregnant you are and why isn't it just a matter of counting weeks...?

We saw the heartbeat at 6wks and everything looked normal on ultrasound. Started spotting at 8wks, went in and no heartbeat. I had a d&c and pathology report said "no saccular or fetal tissue detected...placental villi show no significant hydropic alteration and no atypical trophoblastic proliferation...decidua is partly inflamed and degenerative...no fetal parts are detected." I was told by my midwife after reading this report that I had a blighted ovum. But how can we have seen heartbeat if it was blighted ovum?? My midwife says the technician and my husband and I - all 3 of us saw the heartbeat at 6 wks - must be mistaken and that there never was heartbeat...

Anyone experience this or have any answers?

My daughter pulled out the AA batteries from my husband's Xbox wireless controller. One of them is burning hot and burned both my daughter and I. They are not rechargeable batteries just simple Energizer AA batteries. I have it sitting on the counter and its still just as hot. What's going on? Also worth mentioning, there is a light green dust on one of the coils where the battery goes on the controller. I always thought when seeing it on items in the past that was battery acid. There was no green powder on either battery though.

The superbowl caused House to start late and my Tivo only taped 1/2 of it. Last I saw she had just finished biopsying the node...

My 1 year old daughter is very social and loves people, but once in awhile, in group settings, she cries anytime friends/family approach her. It can go on for up to an hour. She will eventually snap out of it and be very friendly again, but until then, it's embarrassing and makes her seem bratty. It has gotten to the point where family members make rude comments about her. I don't believe in any physical discipline, so please don't suggest I smack her hand, etc. Any loving suggestions?

When I do as manual says and press menu 0, 1. It says "DR mode in use" and does not give me the option to change the answer mode to Fax only. Currently I am stuck on Manual and I don't even know how to accept incoming faxes when its ringing. Please help!
