I need to be able to graph 2x^4/(x^4+1) but I don't know how to factor x^4+1 in order to be able to do so. Any help is appreciated. All I know is there there is a horizontal asymptote at y = 2.

If an equation is, for example, 3x^2/x^4, does that mean the y-intercept is at the origin? Or does that set the y-axis as a vertical asymptote?

I noticed this recently, whenever I get my hands wet (for long periods of time like in the shower), the skin at the center of my palms gets white and bubbly and the pores become really defined. It also occurs on some of the insides of my fingers. It goes away some after a while once my hands are thoroughly dried, but the white still stays. Does anyone know what this is, or how I could cure it?

So basically there is a guy who has asked me out multiple times, and I have had to turn him down because I am not allowed to date. So while I was on vacation, someone had a party (that I was invited to, mind you) and he went. So I got a text message saying that he grinded with a girl twice while at the party, and he wanted to know what I thought. But he also told me he still liked me. I don't feel jealous, since I don't feel that it's really fair to him for me to be jealous since he is still single. But I also thought he was more classy than that. It's just really confusing to me. How should I take this?

so i have a really good friend named kevin. i met him at my winter formal which was in january. i asked him because my friend said he was really nice. so then about 2 weeks later we go to see a movie and then he texts me asking me out (asking me to be his girlfriend). i am not allowed to date, so that's what i told him. he accepted it, but he still seems EXTREMELY interested. i haven't even known him for very long, and he got me a dozen roses, a balloon, and a box of chocolates for valentines day.

i don't really know what to think. i like him as a friend. i am not allowed to date, but even if i was, i really don't know if i am ready to have a boyfriend. he already seems to think we are a "couple." but he is now one of my best friends. i don't really want to lose that. my friends are all like "you guys totally need to get together." i don't like the pressure i am getting from him or my friends. help???

I have to write a paragraph about whether or not Napoleon was good for Europe or not in the long run. I know the pros and cons of his time as a ruler and/or emperor and/or military general. but i haven't really studied modern Europe, so any advice is appreciated.
