  • Jenna Porter borrows $2000 to buy a new computer. Her loan is an example of...?

    A) secured credit

    B) cash credit

    C) neither A nor B

I'm pretty sure that it's cash credit, but I'm not sure if this is secured credit too... Thanks for your help! :)

  • Help with graphing linear equations...?

In Algebra I, I'm learning about graphing linear equations. I recently got back a graded paper where the teacher said my answer was correct but incomplete... but I can't figure out what I'm missing! Could anyone point me in the right direction?

The question was about what happens to the graph of the line y = 2x - 5 when the equation is changed to y = 5x + 6. I put that the slope becomes steeper and it crosses the y-axis 11 units higher.

  • Sentence Analysis: "I will walk and he will ride a bike."?

Could someone please tell me if I am doing this properly? I'm not asking for answers, just to have someone who knows a bit more than me to tell me if I'm doing alright and give me advice on how to fix it if there's an issue. :) With the words, I'm just a little confused about how to explain how the auxiliary verbs are used.

"i will walk and he will ride a bike." (compound sentence)

    Clauses:

I will walk (first independent clause)

he will ride a bike (2nd independent clause)

    Phrases:

will walk (intransitive verb, predicate verb of 1st independent clause)

will ride (transitive verb, predicate verb of 2nd independent clause)

    Words:

will (auxiliary verb; auxiliary verb of 2ns independent clause, modifies main verb "walk")

walk (intransitive verb; main verb of 1st independent clause)

will (auxiliary verb; auxiliary verb of 2nd independent clause, modifies main verb "ride")

ride (transitive verb; main verb of 2nd independent clause)

  • Help with prespositional phrases; easy 10 points.?

In English, I'm learning about prepositional phrases. Overall, it's been pretty simple, but one of them is confusing me a little. In the sentence "His parents wrote a book about starting a new business." would the prepositional phrase be "about starting" or "about starting a new business"? Thanks!
