I was driving within the speed limit in a 65 mph zone. An almost identical car with mine passed me going at least 80 mph. A moment later a police officer appeared behind me and I got a ticket for going 81 mph. I tried to explain that he got the wrong car but he didn't believe me and wrote the ticket anyway. This is unfair and I will fight it in court. Any advice how to do this? Also, does anyone know if there are other similar cases as mine? Thanks!

I was taught in school that Iran used to be called Persia and the people of Iran were called Persians. Sometimes at the beginning of the 20th century the name was changed to Iran. Now I read that Persia is a British invention and Iran was always called Iran. What's the truth?

I plan to visit New York City, with my daughter and little nephew, for a week in April. I found a nice and reasonable apartment in Central Harlem and I wonder if it is a safe neighborhood. I also wonder if it makes a difference that we are Caucasian. Thanks.

The short version of this story is: a long time ago all people were matched in perfectly harmonious couples that formed complete spheres. Something bad happened and all the spheres were split in half and left to wonder the Universe in search of the half that completes them. Has anyone else heard this story? My Grandma told it to me as a child but she passed away and I am wondering if the story has originated somewhere else than in my Grandma's imagination.

The message "waiting for app.pohmtk.com" appears in the lower left hand corner of the screen every time I try to type a message in my hotmail account. The computer moves very slowly as soon as this message appears. It is frustrating and I only noticed it recently. Does anyone have any idea what this is and how to get rid of it?

I have a dark laminate flooring (brazilian walnut), stone colored sofa with sienna and black accent pillows and sage draperies. The floor lamps, drapery rods, and coffe table are also black. Any suggestions for the color of the walls? Right now the living room is yellow and does not quite work with the rest of the colors.
