What would you say if we (the United States) granted those who are in the country illegally the chance to become citizens IF (and I mean ONLY IF) they successfully serve the people of the United States with HONORABLE service for a minimum of four years in one of the branches of the U.S. Armed Forces? Their citizenship would be granted ONLY upon their HONORABLE (not Other than Honorable, not General, ....only HONORABLE SERVICE) discharge from the military after a four year tour of duty.

Everyone I talk to and everywhere I go, people say that President-elect Obama will bring us out of this terrible recession we're in and restore our country to its greatness. When all is said and done, doesn't it seem like we are expecting too much from someone who, Constitutionally speaking, can't do much about the economy one way or the other? Are we as a nation and a people setting him up for failure before he has even taken the oath of office?

Why can't we as Americans realize that both the liberal left and the conservative right points of view are BOTH vitally important to our nation's future? God help us all if one side takes over and there are no other points of view to consider.
