okay, so i am level four summoning and i want a pet dalmatian. i click to talk to the pet shop owner in Taverly and i don't get the option to say anything about 'how much is that puppy in the window?'. i finished the quest wolf whistle, and i have no idea what's wrong. someone please help?

okay, so i downloaded the aether mod like described by a youtuber, and i booted up minecraft and it stayed on the loading screen for around half an hour, and it only usually takes around 10 seconds to boot up. i deleted the original minecraft.jar folder because it wouldnt take the renamed folder if that folder was still there. any suggestions on what to do? please help! i can't lose this game! thanks in advance!

whenever i try to play it a message comes up with these exact words: "FATAL ERROR: Renderer #0 could not be initialized! Make sure your graphic card drivers are up to date. Check log file for more information." what is my graphic card driver and how can i fix this?
