I am looking for some people who've had success in starting their own company/business and has had continued success. I would like to hear from those who've made it. I am getting ready to deploy by service based business so I guess what I'm looking for is some motivation...thanks!

I would like to hear some startup business success stories. Anyone start a business, have a rough start or hit the ground running and had good experiences despite any adversity?

I am especially looking for information on better ways to help sway a potential client away from a service they are already using without coming across as desperate or "green".

Do I need a contractor license for a commercial cleaning business in NY? If so where do I need to go or whom to contact? I am thinking the chamber pf commerce, but I like Yahoo answers so I thought I'd ask here first.

The key word here is: wedding. My future wife and I are looking for some ideas for wedding favors to give our guests.

I am beginning a weight training program here soon. I would like to know what supplements have worked for others, frequency at the gym and losing fat around the waistline.

I am 73 inches (6 ft.) 195 lbs with a slender physique.

I would like to gain a significant amount of muscle and definition without looking freakish.

What could be the time commitment and supplement regimen I would be looking at that would give me the fastest noticeable results?

I am fairly intelligent and am looking at the commitment of time to realistically learn conversational Spanish.

I know it will differ by person, but has anyone done it in say...a year or less? If so how?

Just curious...go through basic again? AIT? Any info is helpful. Recruiters are unreliable for the truth...lol!

My brother owes a few thousand dollars in child support arrears and is required to pay 50% of the day-care expenes along with the normal monthly payment based on the judgement he recieved from family court (NY).

He lost his job and in inelligible to recieve unemployment. The child support collection unit has suspended his lisence, is threatening to put him in jail and freeze his accounts.

Is there any way to alleviate these actions?

He filed for a modification, but the date isn't for another month. He has no lawyer and can't afford one at this time.

Are there any options or steps he can take to alleviate this problem?

Any and all information would be helpful...he is not a deadbeat and sees his kids regularly, but is a victim of circumstance at this time financially. No bashing please!
