The topic is dealing with food scarcity and how some less developed countries have plenty of arable land, yet their population hunger rate is still high since the main use of the land is to grew crops like tobacco, tea leaf coffee beans, coco and other crops that won't feed its people. I don't really know my stand, I mean it's wrong and countries should put the needs of its people second to monetary gain. I don't know how to word this into a clear concise thesis statement on which I can write a paper on.

I really don't understand what makes a rational function continuous or discontinuous, except that when the denominator becomes zero, but besides that-no clue. I know there is something about the function must be defined( a little confused on that as well) . So why are these two functions are opposite in continuity? They both break down where their denominator becomes X=± some value, so doesn't that mean that they are defined there as well. So shouldn't they both be continuous.

f(x) = 7/(9 − x^2)

The function is not continuous, because the rational function is not defined at ±3.

7/(x-3)(x+3)

f(x) = 8x/(x^2 + 81)

The function is continuous because the rational function's domain is the entire real line.

8x/(x-9)(x+9)

I have had several laptops in the last few years, and since my first laptop(an HP) I receive calls often from people claiming to be HP Windows Technicians calling to help me resolve an issue. Despite my many problems with my laptops I've never once called a Tech Support Center for them to reach out to me. The most recent call, today,they say that my computer is downloading malicious content every time I go online without my knowledge and therefore need access to my computer. I told him that I currently didn't use my HP laptop and even if I did I was uncomfortable with the ideal of allowing him aces to my laptop. He quickly got angry and hung up the phone.

Each time they call feel more suspicious of them and feel like they are fraud.

Once person call with the same claim - they are a tech support center trying to help me with my laptop, when I explained that i had multiple laptops they asked which one I was currently used when I responded my Sony they then claimed they were with Sony.

So bottom line my question is basically is this something HP Windows ( or Sony) Tech Support Actually do? Have they ever contact anyone else before?

I have a project to do comparing 5 video editing software.

I'm using TopTenReviews as a source, which great because it has soo much information for my project, but at the same time it has too much. I don't want it to seem as if I creating my project as a direct copy of this website. So I need more info, like other ways I can compare software and/or ways to expand what information they already give.

All I can remember is that it revolves around a girl who when out in public pretends to be graceful, elegant and classy, but when she is at home she is the complete opposite.(she is the idol of her school.

One day the guy who she rejected(i think) shows up at her house and finds out that she is a fake a blackmails her. He blackmail her for about a week r so until she snaps and tells him he doesn't care if he tells. He apologizes and say he only blackmailed her to spend time with her. They become friends and work on trying not to pretend. It's more easy for him than it is for her.

I Need a god that is opposite to thantos( God of death) in Norse mythology. I've been searching, but found nothng. Any help or ideas would be great. It doesn't have to be exactly God of life but something/someone that represents purity, innocents, or creation. Against what death represents.

Why is it important to be computer literate in today's society and in business world( more specifically the marketing industry)?

I have to write a paper supporting Gun Control from either a functionalist point of view and/or a conflict theorist point of view, and I don't know how to go about either one of these perspectives.

If decided to write from the conflict theory perspective, where there is a power struggle in society between the haves and the have not, I don't know who the haves would be or who would take the roles as have not.

And From the functionalist perspective, I don't see any role that gun control plays in or society making them dependent on each other.

I have a speech to do to tomorrow and in it I address the audience by asking a few question. I want them to raise their hands in response to the questions, but I don't know how to tell them this. I feel If I just say something like..."by a show of hands," or "Raise your hands if.." then it sounds like I'm speaking to children, and the audience might feel that way also.

How does 'Der Leiermann' fit into the theme of lost or unrequited love theme of Winterreise?

~ My first thought was that it was not love in the romantic aspect, but instead the natural kind of love and kindness that humans are suppose to share for one another, something that the hurdy-gurdy man does not receive.

I really don't even know what to write or where to begin. The problem is that my current career goals are not solid. I'm a very indecisive person who will change her mind faster than I can blink. Right now, I want to be either an editor or maybe career in Advertisement and Marketing. I really don't know, but i have an interest in both, so I am going to dual major in communications and Marketing.

Once i finish school, I just want a career in one of these two area, and I'll be happy. I'm not looking more out of the careers than that.

I don't know how to turn this into an good essay.

I know a lot of writers(including myself) put their description some where in the beginning of their first chapter. I just started a new story, and i was on such a role, that this section wrote it's self leaving out a physical description of it's main character. Re-reading what I wrote, it doesn't seem like there is a right place to add a description. Since I'm not complete down with the chapter, I can add it later, but I don't want the description to be too far long in the chapter (I'm already past the middle part of the first). After all wouldn't it be strange that after reading this and that about the main character you finally get know their appearance.

I don't know. I 'm thinking about re-writing, something which I really don't want to do yet, so before I do I thought I'll get some opinions. Any answers are helpful, please and thank you.
