  • Where in physics does one cross the facts/theory barrier in proving the universe was created from nothing?

I understand creation as explained in the Bible. Now, I want to know how far we are in science, as far actual proven facts, which prove God had or didn't have anything to do with it.

At the moment, I don't believe science can answer the question any better than creationists. But what I believe is irrelevant; I want to know as much as I can know. I am trying to understand the exact point where science says "We know this for sure" and the point where science says "We don't know, but we believe this based on the theory, that we are waiting to prove with concrete facts", thus a little closer to actually knowing.

I would like to know this line from both the scientists that are trying to prove God and also from the scientists that are saying there is no proof of God, based on our findings pointing toward that line of thinking.

I've listened to several "explode your mind" seminars from known physicists, who don't seem to have enough time to thoroughly explain their thinking to support their point. It looks like the Christian scientists end up pulling from the Bible when they can't convince with the proof they have to give and it looks like unbelieving science, can't explain their theory good enough to convince someone who does not understand physics at the level they are speaking, thus we believe they are just making it up, because we will never figure it out anyway.

Is there a known/unknown list of facts/theory transition to make things more clear (e.g. mans birth to death event on this earth...we know when an 80-year old man, became 35.5). Where is that point of knowing in science where they actually know what the truth is about God or no God.

Kind of like in Christianity, we know Jesus existed, but we don't know if he was God. We only know some men say he was.

If science was to say we "know" God does or does not exist. What would they know? Would they "know" more than the creationists concerning this subject? Forget the beliefs of either parties, I'm only interested in the facts.

I feel I know enough about physics to understand the cross over point (if there is a clear one).

  • Understanding the Big Bang?

Per the Big Bang Theory, if everything in the universe was compacted to about the size of a pea and then the explosion happened and "space" and "time" came into being; how does one theorize everything was about the size of a pea? (Can you picture that in your mind?). What was the nothing surrounding the "pea size" that allows us to describe the description that precedes this event? So far, I can't wrap my mind around that one yet.
