  • How do I stop the history in the url drop down web site addresses deleting itself after nightly shut down?

Every night we shut down the computer, the URL cache is deleted when we use the computer the next day. No passwords are saved either. Ive tried the Internet Options and under the Content Field the Auto Complete Field all the settings are checked (save passwords, web addresses, etc). The settings under the history field also askes to save for 100 days. This never used to do this. Ive run Virus Scans and done everything that I could think of. Please HELP. THIS IS GETTING REALLY ANNOYING!!! The only way around the web addresses is to save under the favorite tab.

    THANKS!!!!

  • Once laptop is unplugged & gets to 75% power the screen goes black. Whats happening?

I can still see some of the desktop, though its like walking into a movie theater after the picture has began and looking for empty seats. I think its the battery, but I dont want to spend the money if its not. Has this happened to anybody else? I know its a Dell Inspiron 2200 (not a recalled battery) that is about 18 months old. Once it blacks out I can close the screen and open it right back up again and it works fine. Thanks for your help and suggestions!
