I am a 34 year old American Woman I have lived in many different countries and have been educated here and abroad I am an artist by trade and scholar/book collector by hobby I am a practicing Buddhist. I also firmly believe most my fellow citizens do not fulfill their responsibilities as citizens. In the words of Kennedy " ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." It is a citizens responsibity to educate themselves, not to be educated it is not the same thing. You can have an Education and know nothing and have no common sense. Citizens must educate themselves by not taking information on face value without good research into the subject. On a funny note, I do think it would be cool if we could restrict voting by not allowing people who can't find the State they live in on a map. lol. Alright I have a weird since of humor as well.
