There are a lot of books that are considered conservative, and explain what liberal means will lead to a certain end, i.e. Ayn Rands "Atlas Shrugged" and "Fountainhead", George Orwell's "1984" and "Animal Farm", and Huxley's "Brave New World". Do liberals/socialists have any comparable books that lead to a positive end? I'd love to see any theories or examples of how liberalism/socialism could possibly succeed.

Please at least read the first few lines of each before responding, and notice that the liberal press is immediately trying to dispute every assertion made my Republicans at the RNC. Now find me some articles where the press disputed anything Democrats said at the DNC. This bias is getting pathetic. It's going to bite the Dems in the butt this time, though.

If it was ever possible for liberals to admit when they were wrong, now is the chance. Admit that we were never in a recession, and that we won't be in a recession.

Maybe once we get past this, libs can admit that Bush allowing offshore drilling had enough impact on futures to help lower gas prices and positively impact the economy, despite the BS ethanol requirements.

Consumer prices are going through the roof. No surprise with the cost of fuel and corn. The obvious solution is to drill for more oil, refine more fuel, and quit putting our food in our gas tank. However, Democrats don't agree with these solutions. What are the Democrats' solutions to fight this incredible inflation?

Why can't they say that children are dying from diseases which could be cured by basic health care? Either way, notice that the children dying from this "lack of health care" aren't in America. I guess the health care here isn't so bad after all!

Not that the facts will prevent you from saying that we are in a recession, but you have to have two consecutive quarters of negative growth, and we just had another quarter of positive growth. That really slows down the "Blame Bush" train. How can you blame Bush for a recession if we don't have a recession? I'm sure you'll figure out a way.

Whether Republicans are actually registering as Democrats to vote for Hillary in the primaries or not, the fact of the matter is that Hillary is still hanging on. As long as she stays in the race, she and Obama will keep beating each other up, and McCain will just keep going up in the polls. I don't see a failure on Rush Limbaugh's part, do you?

And skip the Rush hating speech. I know. Democrats hate him, whether you've actually listened to him or not. That's not related to the question, so please spare me.

McCain has raised $72 million for his presidential bid, while Obama has raised $236 million, and Hillary has raised $195 million for hers. Where all all of these rich Republicans that the Republican party supposedly represents? Where are all of these rich Democrats coming from, that supposedly don't exist?

What exactly would you imagine taking place, and in what time frame could it possible happen?

I answered a question earlier, stating:

If it were proven that the planet is actually in a state of warming, even though the temperature has stayed the same for the past ten years,

and If it were proven that this warming was caused by man made activities, even though we don't put out even a portion of the CO2 as volcanoes, wild fires, etc.,

and if all mankind agreed that this was the case, and decided to do something about it,

What do you think would happen? Is it even realistic to shut down industry and transportation enough to curb global warming? How soon could an alternative fuel be discovered, and universally implemented? What dream world would you have to live in to think that we can just alter the planet's climate pattern right quick?

If you watched this video, you would think that no soldier is voting for McCain. Every single soldier interviewed says they support Hillary or Obama. There could be no greater misrepresentation than that.

It looks like she has a method that will work for a free Tibet, and also improve the situation in Darfur. She is brilliant! All Bush has to do is not go to the opening ceremonies at the Olympics! U.N. Forecasters: Global Temperatures to Decrease

Global temperatures have not increased since 1998, and are now forecasted to decrease. Did Al Gore's slideshow already have this much impact, or was it a Global Farce all along?

I don't want to hear any of that "Fox News" bias crap, either, just because they report both sides of the story instead of solely the liberal side. If you don't believe me, try actually reading it.

Examples:

Elderly vote Democrat because Dems promise more social security

Gays vote Democrat for more gay rights

Blacks vote Democrat for more stuff for blacks

Poor people vote Democrat for more free money

All Democrat voters want free stuff for themselves, while the Republicans just want the government to get the hell out of their way so they can be productive.

Prices of corn skyrockets, while supplies of corn dwindle. How can this be? Prices of meat skyrocket due to increased cost of feed. Why? Because feed is corn based.
