What gets rid of lice, aside from treatments?
My friend has lice and im helping her get rid of it...
2 AnswersOther - General Health Care9 years agomy friend has lice & refuses to treat it...?
Well I've been friends with this girl for about a year now, and her brother is my boyfriend.... I've seen bugs in her hair (about 6) and I talked to her sisters about it. They said that she knows, and won't treat it. I had lice a long time ago, which I got rid of with Treatments and picking them out. I got scared and now I keep a distance from her. I do NOT want to get it again. I know that it's lice... And I don't know how to confront her about it. It's not like I can stay away from her completely, as her brother is my boyfriend.
I also found one in my hair about 6 months ago, and I flipped out and went through it with a lice comb everyday for 2 months straight, and I haven't found anymore. I use dishsoap for shampoo (which i was told that it prevents it and gets rid of it)
I just need some tips on how to tell her without her getting mad. None of her sisters or brothers have it, and neither do I.
I want to be her friend, but I can't unless she decides to treat it.
4 AnswersOther - General Health Care9 years agoWhy do people think that when you're young, you have no clue what love is?
I am 13, and I am in love with a guy. I've known him for two years, and if it weren't for being my age, I'd want to spend the rest of my life with him. I LOVE him, and my mom tells me I'm too young to know whatlove is. I love him, and it's what I feel whenever I'm near him. Yes, I'm young and haven't lived long enough, but I love him, and he means the world to me. Why do people think that?
I love my family... What, is that wrong?
I love him... Is there something wrong with that?

***PLEASE HELP***
I think I may have Bi-polar sindrome. Here's my life story if it helps...
In the 3rd grade, I began to be bullied and harassed. I also began hating myself. (yes, in 3rd grade)
In the 4th grade, the bullying got worse.
In the 5th grade, I met a guy and I liked him. I told my friend, and she told him. He started to make fun of me. I got harassed everyday of that year. I started to telll everyone that I wanted to die.
In 6th grade, the bullying got worse. I got my first REAL boyfriend. The day we started dating he told me that he would never cheat on a girl unless they were ugly. Two weeks later... He cheated, with my bestfriend. I started cutting myself and I had suicidal thoughts. I stopped towards the las 2 months of school.
7th grade, I met the love of my life. He dumped me. I am now bestfriends with him, and have OUTRAGEOUS feelings for.
I am now about to start 8th grade. Towards the beginning of 7th, I cut, starved, and wanted to kill myself. I have an extreme temperment problem, and I am irritable. I have built up angry from not expressing my feelings. I always call myself names, and I get depressed often for no reason at all. I chnge emotions quickly. I am wondering if maybe I should see a phycologist, or a conselour? Does it sound like something serious?
**extra info**
My father and grandfather have anger problems
Please do not tell me i'm too young to date. I know I am, but could care less. I cannot be happy without a boy. And I'm smart enough not to have sex.

4 AnswersPolls & Surveys9 years agoDoggie ear infection? Help please! 10 points!?
My grandmother's dog just recently started to shake it's head/ scratch his ear. I came over her house yesterday, and she asked me about it. I researched for a little bit, and found out a way to clean it. I cleaned out his left ear, and used a flush and drops/ointment prescribed by a vet. The amount of discharge was a mess to clean. I completely filled about 10 q-tips with discharge. I just went to clean his ear today, and there was no discharge/smell and the amount of times he has scratched at his ear or wobbled his head decreased. Is the ear infection gone completely, or should I see a vet? I am very good at handling dogs and I think I may have gotten rid of the infection. He has allergies and he has NO grain in his diet.
My question is:
Should I keep using the flush and ointment?
Should I see a vet just in case?
Should I leave it alone?
EASY 10 POINTS! PLEASE ANSWER!!!

So I'm just going to give a name. Robert is this guy that I've known for nearly a year. When we first met, I began to grow feelings for him. About a month later, my friend told him that I liked him. (which I did not want to happen) He asked me out that day. We dated for a week, and then my friend told me that he was going to dump me. We broke up, and everything was awkward. We stopped being friends and I made a really stupid mistake... I cried in front of him.
About 2 weeks later, we became friends again. Now, about 7 months later from that, we are EXTREMELY close.
He just got into a fight a couple days ago, and I stood up for him when people decided to talk crap. A couple weeks before this, he started to flirt with me. On Thursday when he got into that fight, he was walking REALLY close to me, and whispering things. Here's the conversation...
Me: You do realise people are going to make rumors about that fight... Right?
Robert: I don't care. Wanna know why?
Me: Sure.
Robert: Because I just don't. I dunno why exactly but I don't care.
Me: mmmhm
Robert: Sooo... How was your day?
Me: uhhh
Robert: Did ya get in trouble
Me: *chuckle* No...
Robert: Me neither.
He whispered all of this flirtingly and was smiling flirtingly too. Also, he was walking VERY close too me, and when I separated, he came closer.
I'm in love with him, and I always have been. We recently just started talking outside of school, and he says he's going to come over my house during the summer. I really love him, but I'm afraid it will mess up our relationship if I speak up about my feelings for him.
