  • Trying to identify a specific horror movie?

So I'm trying to remember the name of a horror movie I watched a while ago to show a friend. As much as I can remember, the plot goes something like:

    (spoilers, I guess)

-a girl comes home after rehabilitating at a mental hospital

-her dad has a new girlfriend

-her sister makes her cookies or something?

-there are flashbacks and we find out she was in the hospital because she went crazy after her sick mother died when the boat house burned down

-something about a guy who delivers groceries by boat drowning

-the girl and her sister think the mother is trying to kill them

-she ends up stabbing the girlfriend

-it turns out her sister was a figment of her imagination and also died in the fire or something

I think that's basically it. I might be mixing a few up in my head so idk if this even exists. Thanks in advance.

  • computer is crashing as soon as i turn on the wireless?

okay so I am attempting to connect to our home wifi on my dads old laptop, it's a toshiba portege m100 running windows xp, and the problem is whenever i (it has a physical wifi on switch) turn the switch on, the computer goes all blue screen of death with some message along the lines of 'IRQL not less or equal' which is greek to me. If i try and turn the laptop on with the switch already turned on, it crashes immediately after running the 'preparing your desktop' message. any idea what this could be/ how i can fix it? i have very limited computer knowledge but as far as i know no new applications have been installed recently.

  • High speed slideshow?

So I have thousands of photos that I want to make into a sort of video montage and I was wondering how do I go about creating a slideshow with multiple frames a second? (like those YouTube vids of people taking a photo of themselves every day for however long)?

I'm using a Mac and I know there's keynote and such but I want a really fast slide transition that doesn't have to be selected individually for each slide.

Does anyone know how to do something like this or is there a downloadable app that can do something like this? any help is appreciated.

  • colours and sounds? something about spectrums and wavelengths?

okay, the other day, my friend was talking about something, and i was half asleep, and want to know if anyone knows what they were talking about...

it was something along these lines... colour is how the eye and brain interperets how something is vibrating, and if atoms vibrate faster when they heat up does paint change colour when you microwave it...

yes, i wasn't listening very well, i assume you'd gathered that though.

    i know that's pretty much B U L L S H I T but any way you can enlighten me on the subject much appreciated :)

  • what the hell? is apple trying to kill me?

okay, my ipod was plugged into the computer, and idk why, i was holding it near my face,

then i was like biting the screen sort of tapping against them and i got an electrical shock. the ipod works perfectly and the cord isn't broken or anything...

i wasn't even aware that teeth conducted electricity...

i mean, the power shouldn't be running through to the outer shell should it?

    my teeth hurt...

i have a really strong urge to try again even if i know it will hurt me..

would this power be like at wall 'strength' or would it be a whatever strength it is that ipod's are charged at? will that kill you?

5th gen ipod nano.... not that it makes any difference, but people are always like oh, be more specific, and i'm like specific your mum!

that didn't actually happen, I'm not that cool.

    i wish i was.

but i take solace in the fact that, statistically, neither are you. (real statistics, from the university of 'oops,it looks like you have X misspellinProxy-Connection: keep-alive

  • how do i manipulate a shape on keynote in this way?

okay i'm using keynote (on a mac)(obviously) and i have a need to change this shape in a particular way, and i don't know the way /shortcut which allows me to do it. i'm not sure what it's called, but it allows you to not actually change the shape but change the way it's angled, so it looks like a square is facing a different direction (example) (so, one side of the square is shorter, making it look ike that side is further away). i know you can do it beacause i was doing it a couple of minutes ago but i have no idea how.

this may not make alot of sense but if you get me, hi-five.

  • Art is not what you see, but what you feel.?

What do you think about this statement, do you agree/ disagree?

    What are your thoughts?

What is your favorite work of art? How does it make you feel?

Is it just a pretty picture, or is it something emotional that you can connect with?
