  • Any reason I can't skim off the oil/fat in peanut butter?

    I have a jar of natural peanut butter. I just opened it and instead of stirring it automatically, I wondered if there was any reason I couldn't skim the fat off the top. It's refrigerated, so it'd be easy to remove. It's not completely solid, but is soft. The peanut butter itself still seems pretty soft. The only real problem I can see is that it will make the rest of the peanut butter dry. I'm not sure whether it will, though?

  • Gastric bypass/Weight Loss Surgery Cookbook?

    I had gastric bypass surgery last month, January 2009. Any recommendations for weight loss surgery friendly cookbooks you've tried? I'd prefer answers from people who have actually tried the cookbooks. I found some online, but my local bookstores don't carry any so I can't actually look inside!
