My daughter is going in for two surgeries one on her ears for drainage and another for her lazy eye. the doctors say that they will have to put her to sleep with both if these. I think this will hurt her, has any one gone through this?

I know a guy who is going through a rough time he cannot see his daughter, courts wont help him, he just got back from Iraq and alot of other pain ful things. He turned to weed to help him through the problem and instead of talking to others he just smokes I do not want to turn him in to the police for it but should I?
