How can we be so far from the things we can see(detect)?
Assuming that the universe is 14 billion years of age and that we have the ability to detect things more than 13.5 billion light years away, how can we be that far from anything? Did we travel at the speed of light for 14 billion years? Please correct me if my assumptions are incorrect.

9 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoWhat to do when you suddenly have huge medical bills no insurance and a mediocre income?
53 year old male no real assets Only about $300 a month disposable income. Over $50,000 in medical bills. For icing on the cake the illness (pneumonia) has left my lungs scarred and I don't know if I can work like I did in the past. The information I would like is do I file for bankruptcy? Negotiate with everyone (hospital, anesthesiologist, surgeon, doctor) for payments that fit my $300 ability to pay? Let them sue me since I have nothing they can take? Some other course of action? I am sure there are many people in my same boat and I would love to hear from some of you. Thank you in advance for your help.

1 AnswerOther - Diseases1 decade agohow best to access birth certificate of someone I think may be my daughter?
I did a people search on my ex wife and listed with her was a person with my last name. I searched this name and I was listed as her relative. I have never heard of this person but I think she may be my daughter. She would be around 18 years old. I am devastated to think I was never told she even existed.
