  • Why would an ultrasound and the date of conception not match?

Going by the last period and when conception would have happened our baby should be at 10 and a half weeks but the ultrasound puts it at 8 and a half weeks, everything looked good according to the doctor and I could see the heartbeat. This is my first child but not hers, she's never had a miscarriage and both of her previous pregnancies went full term and both of them are great kids. The first a girl was small the whole pregnancy and the second a boy was average. I know I'm worried over nothing but this is the first time I've been through the pregnancy as a father. Thank you for reading my question and answer you have. I hope you have a nice day!

  • Anyone know where I can find brake calipers for a Mini?

Looking to save some money because they aren't cheap, this is not my primary vehicle so I'm not rushing. She's an '06 base model, not supercharged. I should also come out and admit that I'm mechanically challenged so I have no idea what I'm doing here.

  • The zombie apocalypse starts, what are your three weapons?

Only weapons you have or can get easily so not your wishlist but what you already have ready for the zombie apocalypse.

    Mine are,

    1 club, quiet and effective

2 Ruger P90 w/Crimson Trace laser grip, reliable knock down power

3 AK74, reliable effective and with a good wooden stock can be used as a blunt weapon if you run out of ammo.

All of which are with my B.O.B. and ready to go. (with a couple other useful weapons for my group)

  • Who else names their car?

I've named every vehicle I've owned, Its a habit that started years ago in high school. Boats, Rockets, shuttles, etc get names so why not cars. If you do go ahead and list the names in your answer, I tend to drive cars until they die and so my list is short, Bertha (88' dodge dakota), Carrie (95' plymouth neon), Amy (06' mini hardtop), and either Mildred or Maria for the 14' mini countryman that should be here next week.

  • Is it wrong to hate being thanked?

I've always disliked it when someone thanks me, I like to show my appreciation to others when they do something nice, but can't stand it when the tables are turned. In recent years I've resorted to avoiding friends/family after I do something nice or help them out, these are people I care about and love but the thought of hearing "thank you...." is so unnerving that I'll ignore their calls, texts and other attempts at contact for a couple days or a week if I do something nice. Is this something I should seek help for?

  • How can I find a long lost sibling with nothing to go on?

In 1967/68 my father was a 17 year old Marine in Australia for a short time before being deployed in Vietnam, while he was there he recreated with a local lady, she informed him that she was pregnant right before he left, as he told the story she didn't want anything from him, she just wanted him to know. Fast forward a couple years my father was sent home, met my mother and they started our family, over the years I've always wondered about this possible brother or sister that I've never met. Age hasn't been kind to my fathers memory and my mother knows as much as I do. So as you can see I have nothing to go on, with some luck and a lot of prying I may be able to come up with the mothers name and a city halfway around the world, where do I start the search?
