I am doing chip level servicing of laptop and desktops. I started this earlier now. I want schematic diagrams for desktops and laptops for particular models. please suggest any websites for downloading schematic diagrams.

Can i find out bad sectors where placed in hdd drive. That means the bad sectors where placed in what drive like drives C: D: etc. can i find out In which sectors bad sectors were placed. for example the bad sectors where placed and sector address.

my windows xp sp2 startup is very slow in sometimes. it will show windows loading screen then show one black screen for few minutes(1 or 2 minutes) then show a welcome screen. then show a welcome screen the computer speed is normal. my problem is a black screen in between this gap. my computer configuration.

processor : dual core

ram : 2 gb

harddisk : 40 gb, 500 gb (two harddisk)

I have two harddrive the first one is sata drive and the second one is ide drive. In sata hard drive i install a windows 7 and In second hard drive (ide drive) I install a windows xp sp2. In sata harddrive windows 7 operating system detect the ide hard disk and show in my computer. But when i load in second hard drive (ide drive) windows xp It is detected in disk management (as dynamic) but not show in my computer. In disk management when i right click the sata disk it will show two options 1. import as second harddrive 2. convert to basic disk. when I click import as second drive it show erros. can I use a sata harddrive without formating in ide hard drive windows xp.

I have two harddrive. In my first harddisk it is not booting it is show "error loading operating system" after installing operating system in second harddisk.
