  • This is almost embarassing.... but I need advice?

Ok. I tan pretty easy and get a nice color, however my upper lip tans darker and faster than the rest of my face. In result it looks like I have a mustache, well more like a shadow like I shave. You know how a guys face looks the day after he shaves. I have very little peach fuzz there so no it is not hair. I tried using an spf on that part only, but its stilldarker. It is not this way when Im not tan, but I like being tan. Any advice

  • HELP!! Love walking my dog, but pulls constantly?

I have a two year old Australian Shephard, yes he is full of energy. I really enjoy walking with him as it is good for both him and I. However, he is constantly pulling, I mean to the point where I am at a brisk walk, slow jog. I try planting my feet firm and pulling him back, but it doesnt do any good. He is so focused on other things. I have a "no pull" harness, it doesnt deter him from pulling. However, it does make him look like a ballerina because it pulls his front legs together. When using a normal collar he would pull sohard he walked on his back legs and choked himself to where he was weasing. Any advice from Australian Shepherd owners or others who have experienced this.

  • Need Advice. My mom and husband hate each other.?

I have been married for almost 2 years. And we have experienced everykind of issue from death to job loss. From bankruptcy to attempted kidnapping, you name we've been through it. My husband is also I think, Bipolar. I have been the sole provider for the duration of our marriage. Now my hours have been cut and we are about to get everything cut off. I am close to my family (mom, dad, brother) so my mom and I talk everyday. My husband has expressed his desire for my mom to stop calling and checking in on us. She usually calls when she knows I am off work. I understand that he would like to spend time with me first. I get this. I said I would talk to my mom about it. Well she happened to call when he was ranting on and on about this and overheard everything (phone was in pocket under seat belt and it got answered) Now my mom is crushed. She says she will never forgive my husband for the things he said and really doesnt care if she ever sees him again (this is th esecond time he has done this). I dont know what to do. I am mad at my husband for acting like a baby and for not taking responsibility. I dont have any friends so my mom is it. I have two jobs and I am very frustrated. CAn anyone give me advice. Im hurt and feel pulled in opposite directions.

  • VERIZON--PROBLEMS WITH?

At the beginning of April my husband upgraded his phone (eligible for an upgrade) online. When we received his phone it did not work, os I called right away. They said to send the broken one back and they sent us another phone (different model) I called 2 weeks after I sent the broken phone back to see if they received it, they said yes and there would be a credit on my next bill. There wasnt so I called again and again they confirmed they received the broken phone and sometimes it takes two billing cycles to show up on the billl. This I can live with. However, bill number 2 has arrived and still the charges remain. So, I called. Guess what they are saying now, That they never received the phone and there is no record of anyone telling me that. I put postage on it at work and sent via USPS. The Post office said to get the exact address to where it was sent to they can try to confirm it for me. My bill is 800dollars. I have had verizon for atleast 10 years and never had any issues. Any one have any suggestions on what to do. I being charged full retail value for a phone that is supposed to be free with upgrade.

  • American Couple wanting to move to Krabi, Thailand....?

My husband and I have been offered jobs in Ao Nang, Krabi Thailand. We would be making about $1600 US dollars per month. I would be teaching and he would be doing maintenance etc.. at the same school. Will this be enough to live comfortably over there. We do want to experience Thailand and other parts of Asia. We are not drinkers and would most likely eat traditional Thai food and/ or fix it at home. Occasionally eating western food, McDonald's, etc.... We would need a furnished apt./ house and would buy two bikes and at least one scooter for transportation. Any thoughts on this?

  • Need advice on how to deal with husbands behavior?

Ive been with my husband for 3 years, married for 2. He is my best friend and I love him with all my heart. My husband is obviously imbalanced in some form, he will go from being a sweet caring husband to a violent emotionally abusive one. He has never physically touched me. His abusive episodes have gotten worse-- he constantly tells me that I am stupid, that it is my responsibility to fix everything thats messed up in his life (fight w/ daughter and his mom, etc..) that if I mention anything about traveling someplace he will knock my teeth out, if Im dont do what he tells me to do about my job he will go there and embarass me and get me fired, he tells me when I can and cannot use the computer, the list can go on forever. Im just not happy anymore. I work two jobs, he has none yet he always takes control of our money and we are behind on every bill. He used to take care of the house, laundry cook etc.. now if its not done it because he says he's not doing it by himself and I need to pull my weight around the house. Before this I was a very laid back peaceful person. Yes I have dreams of seeing the world (is this so wrong). I am a Christian but stopped going to church mainly because this would always trigger his attitudes. I always said I would never get a divorce and I dont want to but I want my husband to be my partner not my dicatator. A marriage is supposed to be partnership, friendship, love. I cant lie, Im not happy. I no longer smile, Ive been told by several people that I don't have that "spark" in my eye like I used to. My family doesnt know of this, his does and is on my side. I know my husband needs help, but I cant even have a rational converstion with him. All he says is that its all my fault and he is either going to kill himself or pack a bag a leave. I could use some good advice. If someone can offer a Christian perspective please do. I miss God and feeling close to Him and I am just at a loss.

  • I know someone out there has had and RE-4 code changed.?

I was discharged in 2004 with an entry level seperation and an RE-4 code. BAsically it said it was for a pre-existing depressive disorder. Long story short. It was found out that I had been to a counselor (required to be accepted into psychology program in college), so I had to go to the Recruit Evaluation Unit. I guess since I answered honestly-- I missed my family and no I was not sleeping in boot camp like I did at home (a given I thought) they determined I was depressed. I would really like to get back in. I have a letter from the counselor I saw and he states specifically that I was not depressed nor did I fit any of the criteria for having a depressive disorder.

  • My step-daughter doesnt like me, never has and never will. We had our first fight now what?

I ahve been with my husband for 3 years (2 married) and he has a almost 14 year old daughter. She has not liked me from the beginning and it has been apparent in her behavior. She is rude towards me and makes it very uncomfortable at home. My husband has custody, her mom is out of the picture completely but Grandma is in the picture fully. Yesterday her dad and her were fighting, she is trouble and he told her to go back upstairs-- she didnt. I said "I suggest you go back upstairs--its best to just walk away" SHe continued to yell at me so I told her ghow I felt that she is an ungrateful little twit. In the three years I have been in her life I have dropped my plans more than once because she forgot something, she has stolen my items, I have given her rides to pick up friends when her dad wouldnt or grandma, I did not tell her dad certain things because I know how he would react. Now Im just tired of it. I dont want to be her mom and have never tried to be I leave the discipline stuff up to her dad and just stand behind him. Except for those time when I defended her. Now that I yelled at her my husband said he might leave because he doesnt want to live with tension. I cant apologize for something I feel I had every right to say and I am not going to kiss her butt which is exactly what she expects. Any advice.

  • Cryptology Technician?

Was wondering if any one could tell me what life is like as a CTI in the US Navy. Im wanting to re-enlist (if I get my code changed) and this is the rate I want.

  • Was discharge in 04 from Navy BC w/ an RE4. I want to re-enlist and want to get it changed. Any advice?

Long story short watch what you say around fellow recruits. Anyways, it was found out that I had been to see a counselor (required for me to be accepted into psychology program) So I had to go through recruit evaluation unit-- I answered all their questions honestly-- yes I missed my family, no my sleeping habits are not normal (im at bc) no my eating habits arent normal (again im at bc), yes i miss my family, yes when I went to college I changed my major 3 or 4 times but so lots of people do, anyways they determined that I had a pre-existing depressive disorder. I tried to get my re4 code changed about 6 months after I got out but was denied. I included letters from professors, the counselor, a judge who I knew on a personal basis. I feel drawn to try again. This time I want to make sure I do it right to increase my chances. I am a program manager/ teacher at Sylvan Learning Center been here for 3 years. Prior to this I was customer service at Lowes. The counselor that I saw wrote another letter for me this time he specifically said that I did not meet the critieria for a depressive disorder. I can get letters of recommendation from my boss at Sylvan and othe rbuisiness owners I know. My former pastor may write one-- he lead a group on a mission trip to kenya and I went. I am now married. I need advice on what exactly I need to do to increase my chance of getting it changed. Feel free to e-nmail me. Thank you.
