I would like to upgrade my Dell E520 processor from a Pentium 4, 3.0 Ghz. to something a little faster maybe a Core 2 Duo E8400, or E8200,Can anyone say if this is possible? The specs of the computer is Pentium 4 3.0, Intel G965 Express Chipset,3 GB RAM,Vista Home Basic,305w stock Psu.I am also upgrading graphics to a EVGA 9400 GT. Any help would be appreciated

My home network which consist of 3 computers 2 wired,1 wireless, suddenly started to slow to a crawl,only when the wired computer farthest from the router is connected to the internet,the other computers slow down tremendously,Is it the router? i would like to know. It started just a few days ago.

I happened to notice in the tools section of IE7 a new addition named IE Anti-Spyware when i clicked i was directed to website named avosoftwarefeed.com Mc afee site advisor can give no info. as they have not tested the site.Does anyone know of this program,idid not put it there so i suspect it is a rogue program.Spybot, MC afee, Ad aware says my computer is spyware free, but i did not download IE Anti-Spyware.Does anyone have any ideas how to remove it?

i am running ie7, and thinking of trying firefox, can anyone let me know the advantages or disadvantages of firefox over ie 7?apart from the security aspect as i hear firefox is more secure.
