My baby is 6 months old, I started weaning her off breast milk about 3wks ago, and completely stopped a week ago, maybe a little longer. My milk is not drying up, they haven't been touched in a week. I'm not in pain, and they don't feel full, but they are still producing milk. Why is that, why are they not drying up?

I had a baby 5 months ago, and am breastfeeding(rotating btwn formula), so I was prescribed the mini pill for birth control. I've had heavy periods and inconsistent spotting the entire time I've been taking it. I've always had some kind of bleeding each month. This month, I have all the PMS signs but NO period, not even a little spotting, and in 2 days I'm finished with the 4th week pills. I usually start my cycle at the end of the 3rd week.

Has anyone experienced this sort of thing with the mini pill(Camila) or have gotten pregnant while taking it? I've never missed a pill, but I have been late taking it a couple of times and used a different method of birth control for the next 48hrs as directed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx!

I went in for my 38 wk check up today, and was sent directly to the hospital because my blood pressure was 140/100, and it's usually 110/60, and they found protein in my urine.

I stayed at the hospital for a while, they said they found less protein in my urine then the dr.'s office found, and my blood pressure had come down a little. My blood tests came back fine.

I have to do a 24hr urine catch, check my blood pressure at home, and then go back to the hospital Sun. morn. for them to test my urine,BP, and be put on the monitors for a while.

Anyone experience this and not have to be induced or diagnosed with this preclampsia?

I got the ok from my OB yesterday that I could use Castor Oil to speed up the process a little. Yesterday I took 3tblsp total, and nothing...except a huge cramp that woke me up at 5 am followed by some contractions that have now stopped.

For the people that have tried it(whether it worked or not),what did it do for you, and my main question: did anyone try it 2days in a row??

So it's been 10yrs since I went into labor on my own, I was induced with my other 2.

I am a little over 37wks with my 4th. Yesterday I couldn't even get out of bed or walk I had so much pelvic pain! Then the contrac.'s started and first they were a little painful and about 15-20 min. apart, and then from 7pm to about 3am they were btwn 5-7 min apart and quite painful(didn't take my breath away though), I went to L&D and they of course sent me home b/c I was still only 1cm dilated and 70% effaced. This morning I'm still uncomfortable but no contractions. How long can this go on for before I'm really in labor? Is this the start?

I am being induced at the hospital Sept.13th if she hasn't arrived, but would like to go before then, I'm in soooo much pain. I've heard castor oil works...I've heard good and then I've heard horror stories that it cld hurt my baby? What is everyone's opinion or experience with it?

This is my 4th pregnancy, but very different from the former ones, and my water never broke with any of them.

I dropped at 34 weeks and started losing mucus plug last week.

Anyway, this morning I had alot of discharge, went to wipe it away(sorry for the details)and all of a sudden a bunch of this "water" came flowing out, almost like I was peeing all over my hand, but it was clear,with a little hint of white in it and some tissue specks. It definitly wasn't urine. Could it be my amniotic fluid leaking? I haven't had anymore come out since.

This is my 4th pregnanct, but very different with the other 3(my last 2 were induced at 42weeks) I dropped 2weeks ago,started losing tissue in my discharge about 4 days ago and when I pee, and have alot of lower pressure. I'm dialated only a finger tip(within 2days), and for the last 3 days have alot of lower pelvic cramping and it feels like she is going to fall out at times. Could labor be right around the corner? My cramping is so severe at times that resting nor walking help. Any suggestions?

Although this is baby #4 for me, my baby is 7yrs old so its been a while,and I have forgotten some things. Last night I had sex with my husband, a couple hours later, I went to the bathroom and noticed I passed a quarter size clot.. white in color. Sex was a little uncomfortable, and I'm kind of tender in the lower abdomen today. I haven't passed any more tissue like clots.

Has any one experienced this before and everything been ok,or should I call my doctor?
