You know that talking stage most people have before they get together. How do you know you're there without actually confronting him about it? And if you have been talking, how can you tell if the person might be losing interest?

That "talking" stage where your starting to become more than friends but not quite at that relationship level yet. I always thought people only "talk" to one person at a time, but I heard otherwise. Personally, I feel like if things are getting more serious with one person, you shouldn't "talk" to other people. I wanna hear more opinions out there. Is it considered "impolite" or is it perfectly normal? Need all the help I can get. Thanks!

Whenever I text the person I like, the conversation always dies. It's frustrating and I feel like I'm saying something that's boring him. What are some things to talk about? And how can I drop hints that I'm interested?

I really like him and I think he knows that. His friends have asked me if I like him, and I refuse to answer their questions. Everytime I talk to him and his friend comes over, they always give each other looks, and I'm positive they are "communicating" about me. I've never had luck with guys. It just never seems to work. I've always been told by them that I'm smart and good to talk to, but I never really get complemented on my looks. Every once in awhile, but it doesn't seem to mean much to them. And it's annoying hearing guys talk about girls that have huge butts all the time. It seems like thats all they seem to go for. I'm having trouble deciding whether or not to tell him, so it would help to hear some experiences. Have you ever told the guy you like that you like him? If so, please explain how and what became of it please. Did it ruin your friendship? Did the two of you get together? Did things change, if so, how?
