I think I may have inferred I was still working somewhere I wasn't.?
I was terminated from a job due to, what I feel is, a bogus reason. What happened is a visitor in the ER was told he needed to leave and then he grabbed me. I put my hands up only to defend myself and my supervisor said she was told I grabbed him. After further investigation they released me citing that the situation could have been de-escalated even though I have never been in trouble for anything of this nature. Its a union job and I am still working with the union regarding this issue.
Well a few days later I went on an interview and during the 1st interview I may have inferred I was still working there. At the time I was not, however the issue is still not resolved with the union fully.
Well I was called in on a 2nd interview and it never came up. I was offered the job and they are doing an employment and criminal check. I am not worried at all about the criminal check and I know there is only certain things my old job can say about my working there but I have no idea what to say if they ask about it.
I mean I went on the interview 1 week afterwards, I am still working with the union and I have not received any kind of seperation papers and I am getting unemployment, even though I am still in the unpaid portion of unemployment.
This new job is a dream job in a dream location and I have no idea how to handle the situation should they call and ask me about it. I do not think they will because the 2 jobs are completely unrelated but I like to be prepared.
Please help.

My wife and I are looking to relocate to a different state. I currently work in an ER and I am also looking to finish school in the health field as well. I am not quite sure what to say on my resume for Objective or Summary
4 AnswersHigher Education (University +)10 years agoIs it OK to be friends with the opposite sex when you are married?
I am married. i am totally in love with my wife and we have a great marriage, but sometimes she gets jealous and it drives me crazy. I see jealousy as a sign of mistrust. I work in a hospital and I am in school to become a nurse... and I am a guy. So 94% of nurses are female. In school, out of 86 students there are only about 8 or 9 guys so most of my classmates and coworkers are female. I am very outgoing and friendly and was brought up that guys and girls can be just friends. i know this because I have had female friends from when I was little and never saw them as anything as friends... more like sisters.
My wife thinks its not normal for a married guy to have female friends but to me, when does age or sex matter. There is noone I want other than my wife, I have made that as clear as I can be. On the rare occasions I talk to my female friends on the phone, she is usually right there hearing my end of the conversation and my female friends know about my wife. If I hang out with them outside of work or school I invite her to go but she never does.
My main question is... is it wrong for me to have friends of the opposite sex when I am married?
