I have started getting some numbness in my fingers when playing guitar (I have been playing classical guitar for years) Suggestions please ?
I am 65 years old but keep very fit & healthy otherwise apart from recurring shoulder pain. Could this be connected to the nerve problem? My instinct tells me it might be but then I’m no doctor.
I really want to play guitar professionally well into my retirement years and am very worried that this problem will get worse and force me to stop. I would be devastated if I had to stop playing as it means everything to me.

2 AnswersClassical6 months agoMy colleagues 25 year old son was killed in the Ethiopian 737Max crash. Why didn’t Boeing ground them when they knew they were not safe ?
All 737 Max 8’s should have been grounded immediately after the Lion air crash or until the cause was confirmed to be something other than the aircraft itself. I’ve had a private pilots licence for 30 years and I can’t understand how a computer can EVER be allowed to overrule the pilots commands. Surely the pilots must have the final say in what the aircraft does?
If it takes a computer to prevent an extreme nose up attitude developing during some manoeuvres then in my opinion the bloody aircraft is basically unstable and Boeing should have rectified this problem at the design stage and not after it’s delivery to airlines.
The mother of this young victim is so grief stricken she is beyond consoling because she hasn’t even got part of a body to bury so she can’t even have a funeral. Imagine how she is going to feel when she finds out her sons death was avoidable if Boeing had only put safety ahead of sales and company share prices ?
I am not anti - Boeing and have flown in dozens of Boeing 737’s over the years and have every confidence in their safety but I will never fly on a 737 max8 and I’m sure there are many others who will think the same way
3 AnswersCurrent Events2 years agoMy son hired a car in October for a few days using a debit card & has just had £85 taken out of his account by the hire company for ‘admin’.?
They say it’s for an admin fee for a speeding offence that he knows nothing about. The Police have not notified him. How can they take money out of his account 2 months later without this being theft or fraud ?
7 AnswersOther - Business & Finance3 years agoWhere can I find out what the crosswind limit is on a Jodel D112?
When mentioning crosswind limits do they mean 90 degrees ? & if so, is there a formula for calculating the limits for less than 90 degrees?
3 AnswersAircraft3 years agoCan you see the colours of nebulae with the naked eye if you had enough magnification or are they only visible through infra red equipment?
I am always amazed to see the fantastic colours displayed by distant gas clouds and just wondered if this is naturally visible given enough magnification or only visible using specialist equipment.
5 AnswersAstronomy & Space4 years agoHave sold my 6" reflector telescope as it took too long to set up. Can anyone suggest a good pair of binoculars suitable for astronomy ?
I found I was not using the telescope and it was just getting dusty so I thought a good pair of astronomical binoculars would be the solution and hopefully I would also be able to use an old video camera tripod that I have. Price range for me would be under £500. Also I am in the U.K. where the visibility is not always great.
2 AnswersAstronomy & Space4 years agoDo Audi drivers have to swear on oath to drive as aggressively & dangerously as possible when they buy an Audi ? That's how it looks to me.?
After 40 years of driving experience by a long shot Audi drivers take the top award for dangerous, reckless and stupid driving. (Closely followed by BMW & 4x4 drivers) The manufacturers must take some of the responsibility for this by constantly pushing the word 'sports this and sport that' Its not a bloody sport!!
Motor racing is a sport (ON THE RACE TRACK!!) Not on public roads where you will kill people - Please Audi company bosses lets ditch this 'born on the racetrack' rubbish and maybe become just a little bit more adult and responsible before any more innocent people are killed on the roads.
7 AnswersAudi4 years agoHow do you get into the UK Police force as a Police Officer? My son has done everything he possibly can and can't even get an interview.?
He gained a distinction on his public services course. Has been a volunteer Police cadet leader, passed with a distinction on his 2 year foundation degree in Policing and been approved to work independently as a Special Constable.
It seems to me he is perfectly fine to work on his own patrolling streets and being exposed to all manner of personal risks but only if he does it for nothing.
I think it is outrageous as he is now sat at home getting more and more depressed feeling he has wasted his time since leaving school.
