Do you think this question will post in a reasonably acceptable period of time?
I doubt it. My questions rarely do.
I don't know why I even try. I think I am going to quit asking questions.

They won't send me any because I am not American.

2 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoWho is the greatest "second fiddle" in rock history?
People who, like Dave Davies or Mick Jones, were of essential importance to the band, but always had their contributions overshadowed by the frontman of the group.
10 AnswersRock and Pop1 decade agoDo you think the Sex Pistols were more important than good?
I tend to think that. I'm curious what others think. They have a couple of good songs and they helped trigger a revolutionary change in rock music, but, to me, they are just The New York Dolls without the trashy fun and there are a lot of better punk bands out there.
16 AnswersRock and Pop1 decade agoWhy are The Zombies so underappreciated?
Odessey and Oracle is the best British pop album of the '60's. It is better than any individual Beatles album (though the Beatles work, as a whole is superior), yet popular opinion on The Zombies seems to place them as a strictly second tier group.
5 AnswersRock and Pop1 decade agoWhich is the better album: "Let It Be" by The Beatles or "Let It Be" by The Replacements?
I would prefer if you only answer if you are familiar with both.
10 AnswersRock and Pop1 decade agoIn the accepted canon of good music, which "great" band/artist do you think does not belong?
Also, while we're at it, who should be a part of the canon, but isn't?
3 AnswersMusic1 decade agoDo you believe in human progress?
Has humanity improved over the past millenium or so, or is it that the gradual development of new technologies has created a false impression of progress.

1 AnswerPolls & Surveys1 decade agoWhy are so many people jumping on the Nashville Predators bandwagon?
It seems like they have become the hip team to like in the way that Colorado used to be. How many of these "fans" (excepting people from Nashville, obviously) liked them three years ago, before they became contenders?
14 AnswersHockey1 decade agoWhat is rock 'n' roll all about?
I have my own opinion, I'm just curious about other perspectives.
12 AnswersMusic1 decade agoWould you think less of your favorite singers if you knew they used autotuners?
Autotune disguises mistakes and corrects vocal pitch. It is at the point where most pop singers use them in recordings and live performances.

Just listening to a little Marvin Gaye at the moment...
9 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoAre people really so uncaring?
I just got five thumbs down and no thumbs up for outrageously suggesting that every human being is entitled to the basic means of survival and, should they not be able to provide it for themselves, the government should help them.
