What is that song on the current Halford's Advert (UK)?
It's years old. I know it, I just cannot remember what it's called or who performs it and it's driving me batty.
1 AnswerRock and Pop9 years agoRadio Amateurs- 431 to 432 MHz?
Why can't you use this frequency within 100km of Charing Cross? Presumably somebody else uses it.........but who? Nobody I've asked seems to know. Anybody any clues?
1 AnswerHobbies & Crafts1 decade agoDoes Anybody Know how to Work the Inductance Feature on a Uni-Trend UT70A?
I've got the above multimeter in my Christmas stocking and it claims to be able to do inductance. Unfortunately it gives me readings where ever I stick the dial and not the same ones either. The manual is no help, and I'm wondering if anybody out there has cracked how to work it.
1 AnswerEngineering1 decade agoBattery power output...............?
This is something I've never thought of before, but does a battery have a maximum instantaneous current that it can provide? i.e. a maximum number of amps per second (or whatever time period) regardless of its mAh rating? If so, how can I calculate this?
2 AnswersEngineering1 decade agoElectret Condensor Microphone Question......?
So, I want to make an amplifier for watching TV so a hard-of-hearing person can watch without blasting the rest of the family out. I've got two electret condensor microphones and I know that one end needs to have a supply voltage, and the second pin has an audio output/ground connection. What I don't know is where this goes in a simple amplifier. The amplifier can be OTL, transformer or direct coupled, but can anybody point me in the direction of some good schematics please?
