  • Motorcycle tech question?

Does a 2003 Ninja 250 fire on every rotation of the engine? Meaning it fires on the TDC of the intake (compression) and exhaust stroke

It is a 4-stroke water-cooled engine. I pulled the cams and had some trouble getting them back n and lost the alignment I should have maintained. Someone told me it did not matter about the TDC location because it fired on both of the strokes and I would like to know if this true. I usually work on cars and it really matters. Any help would be appreciated!!

  • 92 Honda Civic runs perfect but dies sometimes?

I have a Civic that runs absolutely perfect, most of the time. But sometimes when it is at regular operating temp and I go into a store to buy a sixer or pop-sickle and come out and start it, it will (only on occasion) die.

I think, no big deal and try to restart it. Nothing! No try to start, nothing at all. Then if I let it sit for a few minutes (5 or more) it starts just fine.

The car runs like a dream and gets over 30 MPG and I love it. Just this one intermittent problem. I worry that it might someday happen in traffic and that is the main reason I am looking to finally find an answer. Help! I am a very old school guy about cars and have not kept up with this technology.

The car is a 1.5 Liter Auto, FI LX car.

Any help would be appreciated and an answer that works will get very positive remarks!

  • Oil and gas mineral rights in Wyoming?

My mother recently passed away and in her documents was an oil and gas mineral rights deed to a large section of land in Wyoming. Also there was a will from my grandmother leaving the rights to our family, so I suspect they may be worth something, at least my grand mother thought so.

Does anybody know anything about such things as this? More specifically I would appreciate a name or number of someone in Wyoming who might be able to tell me what this might be worth. Does the deed expire in Wyoming if no one can be contacted? So many questions... Any help would be appreciated. I have Googled it and found several law firms that do this and have e-mailed them, but what I am really looking for is someone who might be able to give me a quick and definitive answer to my question, which is "is there anyone in Wyoming that might be able to give me a status on the history on a certain section of property in Wyoming if I give them the parcel number"

Tough losing your mom n top of this!

  • Pre-employment testing fo alcohol. Any Lab tech's out there?

Does anyone know how a urine test for alcohol works? How far back does it go and what are the limits? Two beers the night before? A six pack a day for a long time?

I have never had one of these tests and if there is a lab tech that knows the answer I would really appreciate it!

The test was definately a urine test and it was for alcohol and drugs. When I asked the tech if I had had a couple of beers the night before; "would that influence the test" She said "No". the test is for long term abuse?
