  • Did I mess up this job?

I had an interview a while ago and a little over a week later I called back and asked about the status of my application. The manager wasn't there at the moment so I called a few days later and the manager was away but would be back soon. I called again and when I got through to the manager they told me they would call if they need me. They sounded a little annoyed and I'm really scared I blew it. What's the best course of action? I don't want them to think I'm not interested, but at the same time I don't want the manager to dislike me enough not to give me the job

  • Did my SSN get stolen?

Last night I was filling out job applications on my ipod. I found one for Moe's Southwestern Grill (the site had a yellow/orange (maybe green I can't remember) background with swirls, and the application had your basic generic questions. Proudest achievement, name, ssn, etc. etc. So I filled it out, I got to the 2nd from the last question for references, so I minimized it by tapping the home button, then went to my contacts, copied and pasted, but when I went back to change the contacts, when I went back to the Moe's page the application refreshed. This was really late, and I know my ipod tends to refresh itself, so I was like forget it, I'll do it in the morning. But when I searched for Moe's Online application on my ipod, AND on my computer, that site doesn't come up - at all. I have no idea which page it would have been on or anything. Was that site a scam? I'm really scared now, please help?

  • Can someone please help me with chemistry?

The help videos aren't helping because the teacher keeps saying "um" and goes off on these annoying tangents that are completely unrelated to chemistry. So please don't suggest that. I am being asked to write formulas for chemicals when they bond. How do I do that? I know the number of protons and electrons are the same, I know that you can tell the number of valence electrons by looking at the groups (groups, not periods), I know that electrons can either be shared or transferred, and I know that 8 electrons are needed for an element to be stable. How can I write the formulas? On the test it gave me an example, and one had like 6 and another had 4, so I put element x+2 and element y2- (because it has to lose two for element x to become stable) and I got it wrong. I can't remember the exact elements but yeah. I keep hearing that it depends on the type of element, alkaline-earth metals, etc.

One-size-fits-all instructions for-dummies would be really appreciated!
