I know a lot of things about a lot of things...Ph.D. in life experience.

  • Computer Crash?

Does anyone know if your computer crashes, (I think it's the power supply) whether or not you can somehow retrieve information (my novel) and photos (of an explicit nature) without taking it to a computer store? (for obvious reasons)

    Thanks!

  • Anyone diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease?

I have been recently diagnosed with early stages of CKD and want to know how the progression goes...is it a long time usually? What are uncomfortable symptoms that undoubtedly will crop up? What can I expect? The CKD came from taking meds for bipolar disorder for the past 10+ years.

  • Family, Christmas and opting out?

This year my family has been in total turmoil. My father has nearly died and my mom is right behind (and they are young yet!). I have 2 sisters and 1 brother. They make me feel low and generally worthless. All 3 siblings are very well off...I live hand to mouth. I am the "black sheep". I also have bipolar disorder, which they will not let me forget...or THEY don't forget and will always see me as crazy anyway. My family didn't even tell me about our Christmas celebration (which will be this Saturday) until today, when I called about something completely unrelated. THEY NEVER EVEN HAVE IT ON CHRISTMAS...because they have to wait for the "golden children" to come in from out of town.

I want to bag it this year and tell them, "No way. I have plans."

    What do you think?
