  • Do I have Conficker or not?

I can access all virus scan/removal tool sites (McAfee, Symantec, etc.) from my desktop with one exception - Microsoft.com (I get the 'timeout' message on both my Firefox and Opera browsers when I try it). I can access Microsoft.com from my laptop with no problem at all so the site isn't flooded or anything. Should I be worried about Conficker or not? All virus scans I've run and updates I've done through Norton say my system is clear.

  • Getting home from work when the Cubs play at night - HELP!?

Does anyone know of a quick(er) way to the Northside (Buckingham and Broadway) from the Loop using the CTA (buses and/or the EL) when the Cubs are playing at Wrigley at night? It takes me over TWO hours to get home from work using the #135 and the trains are always so packed that I end up waiting for an hour for one I can board.

  • Why does the zip for downtown Chicago display as "Fox Valley" on the Yahoo! Weather page?

I keep entering the zip for downtown Chicago (60606) for my weather preferences and saving the information but each time I sign back in, the default location reads as "Fox Valley Weather" and I have to re-select Chicago 60606 in order for it to display as "Chicago Weather" - why? Chicago isn't even in the Fox Valley according to the maps I've seen and I've never saved it as a default location.
