I'm a mom to a 20 1/2 yr old daughter and a 17 yr old son. I'm a grandma to a 3 yr old and 11 month old. I'm married and we all live in our little 3 bedroom home... We are growing out of it! Right now we are in the process of drywalling the living room, so we are really cramped! Anyway, I'm interested in diet, health, beauty secrets, mostly anything health related... We also have 2 dogs and a cat.
I want to get my old phone number back? How can I do this?
I paid my bill late with my phone company (Cable Company). When I paid my bill, they told me it was too late they couldn't give me my old phone number back. Therefore, I did not continue my phone service with them. Is there any way I can find out what company owns my phone # and get it back?
4 AnswersLand Phones1 decade agoI went to ENT dr because left ear is plugged. They found nothing. Could it be TMJ? If so, what can be done?
The ENT asked me a bunch of questions and looked at my ear and gave me a hearing test. They told me that my ear looked fine and that the hearing test was normal. (I'm shocked the hearing test was ok because often I have a hard time hearing what people are saying, especially when there is background noise).
I do feel light headed and dizzy sometimes and I do notice that the plugged feeling happens mostly when I CLENCH my teeth.
I have NO pain in my ear or jaw, just feels like I have water in my ear or like it is plugged.
Also, I have been to my dentist recently (because of pain when chewing after having some dental work done). The dentist grinded my tooth a little saying my bite was off. I was having the ear problem before the dentist grinded my tooth, though.
Seems like the ENT Dr would have mentioned TMJ, but he didn't, he just quickly asked me a bunch of questions. (He wouldn't even wait for me to answer the question before going on to the next question).
6 AnswersDental1 decade agoI have a pale pinkish skin tone. My natural hair color is brown. Would blonde make me look pale?
I color my hair at home. Next time I color I would like to go lighter, but I have a pinkish pale skin color and it seems like last time I went blondish, it made me look sickish or pale....What color would be good for me? Any ideas? Thanks.
12 AnswersHair1 decade agoI color at home. My roots were grown out so I colored again. My highlights turned greenish. Can I fix at home?
This has happened to me before. I think I bought the same color again by mistake. I bought Loreal les True Brunettes Ultra light ash brown (by the way I LOVE this coloring, just bought the wrong color). Anyway, the roots look fine, but it is the highlights that I had, that turned a greenish gray. My natural hair color is dk brown (with a few strands of gray). The sun used to turn my hair a pretty blondish light brown. But now that I'm older, when my hair roots grow out, they are a ugly dk brown w/grays, so I've been coloring it light brown at home. I also highlight my hair at home (approx 6 months ago). Anyway, I have long hair and about 3-4 inches look greenish/gray. Is it too soon to re-color at home? If so what color should I try? Or should I highlight my hair? I know that if I just leave it alone the blonde highlights will come back, it just takes a long time.
Thanks for any advice you can give! :o)
3 AnswersHair1 decade agoOur ceiling joices are not even. (We stripped plaster/lath and discovered this). What is the best way to fix?
Do you recommend we:
**fir studs,
**sister 2x4s in,
**cut low joices so they are even
???
This house was built in 1925 and the ceilings are about 8' 3".
Thanks for any suggestions.
