I am going to be applying to the Academy of Art University and it is in CA. I live in Ohio and am doing it online. I tried applying for the Cal Grant (there was a link on the school's website) and that will not work seeing how I do not live in CA. So I tried googling "Ohio grants" and did not find much! The whole financial Aid thing is confusing! My Fiance just got laid off work, i was a stay at home mom, and am looking for a job..... but do not have one yet. So we are basically poor for the time being. Does anyone know of and grants or links to help me?

Also, another question. Are there student loans out there (my credit is not great at all) that can help me buy stuff for my major? I am taking photography and really want a camera to learn with.

I am a stay at home mother. My Fiance and I had a child at a young age, we were not planning it. So now he is working from 7:30p - 4am. He comes home, goes to sleep untill about 2pm. This leaves me to get a job from 2:30 - 6pm. And I am having trouble since my availability is so strict. I have looked into daycares, but by the time it's all payed for and gas... i would be working all week, 40 hrs, for like $40! Anways, just giving you an idea of my life... we are struggling right now because my Fiance's hours have been cut back 18 hrs a week, more than $400 a week!!! And I am wanting to take my photography courses (throught the mail, New York Institute of Photography) and want to get a camera so I can start doing photography and making money! I know I would make a great photographer... but we can't afford any of this. So FINALLY for my question... are there ANY grants out there that can help me?! All the ones I have researched cost some kind of money. And I just have no idea where to start looking. I would really appriciate any help from anyone knowledgable on grants and such. I live in Ohio if that is nessescary! Thanks in advance for your help :)

Because It is supposed to be on the back of the manual... and I couldn't find the manual. I eventually found it and go figure..... the code is torn off, the whole back page is torn! So is there no awy I can install it? I tried gong to the website, to e-mail the company.... but I could not find an option to contact them! Any help is appriciated.... thanks :D

We have DVR, where you can erwind, ecord, pause, etc tv shoiws and movies. our remote broke (from the4 cable company) and was wondering if their is some remote (less than $15 hopefully) at wal mart or somewhere that would be able to be programmed to do all of that?

I am SO tired of carrying bowls of water in and out to fill my Daughter's pool. It would be so much easier if i caould attach a hose to my kitchen sink. Do the sell attachments for the hose that will connect it to my kitchen sink? thanks!

When I enter the CD into my Cd drive, it will not read it. The installing instructions said to click run, and enter "D:|Autorun" and I did.... and that does not work either. I eve am clcking on "My Computer" and double clicking the CD drive.... and nohing is in that folder. When I enter the CD, a little CD symblo appears where my arrow is, as if the computer is reading the CD, but it isn't :( My computer meets all the game requirments too. I also have problems when I burn cd's. The computer keeps telling me to insert a balnk CD, when I already have. So it must be a problem with my CD dive?

On my computer the CD drive is : DVD-RW Drive (E:)

Can someone PLEASE help me

P.s. I tried unistalling the drive, and re-starting the computer.... I also tried cleaning the drive.... I do not know what else to do? My boyfriend also made sure all the cables were plugged in inside the drive....

I called the college near me and they said they had no programs that would certify me. Does anyone know if any coleges have a class for this? Also, I was going tyo go in August for my LPN degree... and heard that i can go for another year to be a registered nurse. Then I THINK i can go for another two years to become an mid-wife. But this college thing is so confusing to me. I am a mother, and am not married yet. So I think I can get a lot of help paying for school. But I don't know where to look, or who to ask for help? I just got it today, and for some reason my computer won't read it. I have Windows Media Player... I created a big list of songs.... Then tried Synching them, and it wont read my device! So I tried repairing my device, and when it was done, it said there was an error! Anyways, I do not know what is going on. My computer is reading the device when i plug it in... I am so confused and know nothing about computers =[

They told me they do not change diapers... which is okay. I can just go change her when she needs it i guess. But I was wondeing, is it a big room that children of all ages play in? Because my daughter is 14 months and I don't want her to get ran over, or knocked down from older children running into her. Please share your experiences.....

I Had cramps yesterday, and today in my lower stomach. They kind of felt like period cramps, but I am not due for that for another two weeks. If I am pregnant, we conceived on the 20th, nine days ago. Would I have cramping symptoms this early?

I am 20, and am VERY pale! Haha... Anyways sonce I was little I always wore sunblock in the sun.. Because if I went 20 mins in the sun without it, I would burn really bad. I have tried going tanning.. It only lasted a week though. It hurt, I just burn really bad. And I have tried burning, letting it heal, and burning again! I just keep burning, never a tan! But I do get lotsa freckles =] So my question is, is there any hope??? Other than the self tanner lotions, etc? I am so sick of being so white!!!

What are some early symtoms? It is too soon to take a test.... I was just wobndering if there were any signs of pregnancy about two weeks after conception? Thanks for your answers =]

Neither us, or our parents can afford it. A girl only gets married once (or is SUPPOSED TO) in their life. It is supposed to be so special and wonderful. I do not want to get married in the court house. But weddings are so expensive. I am sure we can set up a nice, cheaper wedding than average. But still.....the cost of a dress, food, invites, etc is rediculous! And ideas?
