  • My 13 month old is biting everything................?

    My 13 month old, the most adorable little sweet boy, is biting everything, including people. Any suggestions?

    I have twin boys, nearly 5 yrs old. They went through a biting stage but it was when they were 2. They were doing it out of anger. My baby boy isnt doing it out of anger. He can just come up to you for a snuggle and next thing ya know, OUCH! I've been tapping him on his mouth (NOT HITTING!!!!) and saying "Ouch. No biting. That hurts." but its not helping any.

  • What's the rule on temperatures?

    I vaguely remember something like, if you take the temp under your child's arm, you're supposed to add 1 degree. If orally, the temp is accurate. If taken rectally, you subtract a degree.... or something along those lines...

    Anyone else hear of this or am I remembering wrong?
