  • How long do you let the dog sniff around before you make him keep going?

When I walk my dog he has a tendency to sniff the same spot for a VERY long time before urinating.. Sometimes he takes so long that I'll just pull on his leash and keep going until he finds a new spot. I've also noticed that sometimes when he's sniffing he starts to lick the spot he's sniffing and I immediately pull him away..

Is this normal? Should I just let him sniff for an extended period of time or is it okay that I make him keep going?

  • Does this make me a lesbian? Please read?

I m a 22 year old female and I consider myself to be straight, I have always liked men and I am in a relationship with a man now for three years. However, I find myself being attracted to women, I enjoy lesbian pornograhy and I often catch myself staring at a pair of breasts or a nice bum.. Is it normal at all for a straight woman to be attracted to other women, or would I be considered bisexual?

  • My best friend just found out her mother has cancer, how do I console her?

I've never personally experienced a death or illness in the family, so I'm not sure what I can do or say to help my friend cope with this. Her mother does not live in the country so it's even worse. How do I help her cope with this news? Or should I just leave her alone and allow her to take it all in?

  • New York City drinking laws?

I heard that in New York, you can drink underage if someone older buys you the drink and you are under their supervision the entire time.. Is this true? If I take my 20 year old friend to a restaurant in New York, can I buy her a drink?

  • Am I too close to my parents?

I have always been close to my parents and I moved out about two years ago but I still see them and visit them about twice a week, we talk on the phone every day.. I even enjoy taking vacations with them (of course not every vacation) and going out with them often.. I don't keep many secrets from them, only really private things between my spouse and I, aside from that I tell them almost everything. However, my husband seems to think I am too attached to them, and he doesn't understand why I have to let them in on certain things or see them so often.. Is it wrong that I'm so attached to them?

  • I wish there was more trust between my mom and I?

I am 22 and in the past my mother and I didn't have the best relationship. We did however, patch things up about 5 years ago, and I consider her someone I can tell just about everything to. However, she's very judgemental when it comes to certain things, example: she doesn't drink so she thinks I shouldn't either. And the one time I mentioned even having just a shot of whiskey, she lectured me on how bad alcohol is. I feel like there are certain things, like that for example, that I can't tell her even though I want to. How can I let her know that she's very judgemental without upsetting her? I would like to be able to be more open with her

  • I started using iCloud and even paid for more space but it's not what I thought it would be?

From what I understood, iCloud would take my photos and keep them somewhere else so they wouldn't be taking up space on my phone, rather it uploads the photos into ALL my devices (iPad, phone and computer) and takes up space on all of them. What can I use to keep all my photos safe but out of my devices taking up space? (At least out of my phone)?

  • Having guests over a studio apartment?

My boyfriend and I live in a studio apartment and sometimes we talk about having guests over and friends over but I don't know how it would work if the "living room" has a bed in it.. We could spend time in the kitchen but still, I would feel uncomfortable having people walking into what is our bedroom. Should I just not have guests over or how do you manage in a studio?

  • Why is it okay to have "black pride" and "Hispanic pride" etc.. But when you say you have "white pride" it's considered bad?

I am proud to be a white person but the few times I've said this I've been told that I'm racist, I've been called a Nazi, told I was pro slavery, just horrible things, and I don't understand why it's okay for blacks to have black pride month or Hispanics such as PR to have their pride parades, etc but not okay for whites to say they're proud of being white?
