Is there any way to show how much space is used on a removable disk in vista? So when I open my computer the icon looks like a Hard Drive icon. I know if I right click and select open as a portable drive I can see this from a new window, but is it possible to see this from the my computer menu?

i just got a game controller and my laptop game doesn't read the controller. My computer does but not the game, how can i get the game to use my controller?

My laptop battery is screwed up. I forgot my charger at a friends house so had to use an old one. The old one produces 18.5v and my one produces 19v. Now that i switched back, my battery will charge fully, but my laptop will not read it correctly. it last for 45 min, as always, but the battery monitor will read 100% for half hour then go down to 3% and say something like 2h35 left. Then when i charge it takes about an hour to reach 5% then it will say "plugged in, not charging" I try to run it down but that's not working, what can i do?

I want to buy a high capacity battery for my acer laptop. I have an acer aspire 3680-2682. The website below has one but it says it is 11.1v but my battery says 14.8v. Will it work in my laptop? It says it compatible but i really have no idea if it will work.

Everything in fire fox 3 just disappeared randomly. My homepage is set to yahoo.com, but when i open ff, it goes to untitled. When i press home, it goes to Mozilla Firefox start page, but in the options it still says that it is yahoo.com. Also all of my book marks have disappeared. I have scanned my computer with about 5 different virus protections but nothing, whats going on? How do i get everything back to normal?

When using Firefox 2&3, it will never keep my settings for checking spelling in Google. It will check spelling in other things like Dogpile, but not Google. Is there a way to get it to keep checking spelling?
