Will Torsion keys off a 98 chevy k1500 fit in my 99 silverado 1500? also how big a tire will i be able to fit on my 99 silverado with 2" of lift im hoping for 33"s. Thanks

I have a 99 silverado 1500 5.3L V8. When its cold and i drive it it shifts back and fourth from d to 3 back and fourth the lights on the dash flicker and my rpms go way up then back down for about 10 minutes until its warm. I have replaced the tranny filter, both solenoids, put new fluid in, and replaced the entire shift linkage i dont know what to do anymore does anyone please know what is going on?

I have a 1999 chevy silverado 1500. The other day i started up my truck and it seemed to be running at higher rpms then usual sure enough when i got on the highway going 75mph i was running at 3000 rpms when im normally at 2000rpms i feel like im stuck in tow haul. Also sometimes just driving down the road my truck will switch from D to 3 by itself back and forth.....i dont know if maybe it is my selector or the transmission? if you could help me i would greatly appreciate it!

Im looking to get a flowmaster super 44 muffler for my chevy silverado 5.3L V8 and i was wondering if the length of the muffler matters? i know i need 3" intake but if i get a shorter muffler will it be quieter? louder? im not going to put the rear end of the pipe on again cause its legal in my state i just wanna make sure im not going to ruin anything with a muffler to small.

I have a 1999 chevy silverado ( new style) and in the cold weather when i go to put it in drive it automatically skips drive "D" and goes into third "3" when it warms up it keeps shifting back and fourth between "D" and "3" until its fully warm and it stays in "D" i have no idea whats going on can anyone please help me?

I wanna put a leveling kit in my 1999 chevy silverado lt ( new style ) so that i can add 33" tires but first i need to know what size tires my stock rims that are 16" will fit do i have to get 285/75/r16 or will it fit any other 33" tire size? please help me out thanks

i have a 1999 chevy silverado 1500 with a 5.3L V8 i was wondering how much horsepower it produces stock? also i have a cherry bomb exhaust on it and a k&n cold air intake i hear these give you more horsepower how would these give me? Thanks

I have a 1999 chevy silverado and the heated seats dont work on both sides. When i press the button on the door the light lights up on both sides but no heat? any ideas of whats wrong or how i can fix it?

Im looking to get new torsion keys which give me 3" of lift in the front of my 1999 (new style) chevy silverado 1500 ext. cab 4x4 truck and either blocking or new leaf springs to give me 2-3" of lift in the back this will allow me to fit 33" tires i was wondering if there were any 33" tires that will fit on my stock chevy 16" 6 lug rim? if anyone could help me with this that would be great i really dont want to have to buy new rims.

i have a 1999 chevy silverado and it drives fine in 2wd exept for a clanking sound coming from the front passenger wheel. When i put it in 4x4 i can sometimes here what seems to be the driveshaft spinning but not catching what ever it goes into to turn the wheel, i dont have experience with front end work and was hoping someone could help me figure out what it is and what i have to do to fix it
