  • What exactly is a chorus gypsy?

I head (and use!) the phrase often in theatre...but what exactly does it mean?

  • When did you lose your virginity?

It seems that kids are having sex younger and younger.

So I'm just curious...when did YOU lose your virginity?

Do you regret it? Are you still with the person? Were you scared? etc..

  • Sharpay help?

I'm auditioning for the part of Sharpay Evans in my community theatre's production of HSM.

What should I wear? What song should I sing (NOT from either HSM 1 or 2, but still from a musical preferably)? How should I act?

I've seen the movies, but I want some advice. Has anyone done this role? What'd you do to land the role? Thanks!!!!!!

  • What do YOU think of this poem?

    You lost your innocence.

    What went through your head

As you lowered her down onto your mother's bed?

Did you take off her clothes, or did she take off yours?

Were you sweaty and scared? Did you blame it on nerves?

    You lost your innocence.

    Was it fast and quick?

Did the newness of it all make your stomache sick?

Had you done all your chores? Was your homework completed?

Did you just give in once the moment got heated?

    Your lost your innocence.

    Were your friends impressed?

Are you glad that you did it or do you have your regrets?

Did you stain the sheets with your nervous sweat?

Did she tell you she loves you? Well, I would do that.

I'd be the one who'd take care of you.

You could keep your pants on and Id still want you.

Hold on to your youth, and I'd still love you.

Your mom drove her home when it was through.

I love first kiss stories...I think they're so interesting and everybody has such different stories to tell.

So what was your first like?

  • Your personal opinion?

Which of these headshots is better?

I'm 16, and they will be used for theatrical auditions, not modeling or anything.

And please be perfectly honest. If they're all rubbish, you can tell me.

Thank you so much. I'll answer your questions too!

  • What can I do to 'get over' someone I don't have a chance with?

I am so totally in love with this boy at my theatre, but I don't have a chance with him.

He is 2 years younger than me (he's 14), but he is also extremely good looking, incredibly talented, and he could have any girl he wanted. He really could. I thought that he might like the fact that an older high-school girl liked him, but apparently not.

Soooo my question is, what can I do to get over him? I can't NOT see him since we are always in classes or productions together.

ANY advice is appreciated. Thank you!

  • What is your experience with dating theatrical people?

I'm very into theatre, so I'm around "theatre people" 24/7. Although, of course, a good deal of the guys are gay, there are still quite a few who aren't. But my question to you all is what kind of experiences have you had dating theatre people? Is it hard to know when they're serious and when they're acting?

I'm a little cautious to date a fellow theatre person for fear that they'll "act" when they're with me. You know?

I know that I definitely act when I'm with people. My theatre experience has made it to where I can make anybody believe anything, and can similarly convince them to do anything. (I'm a sweetheart, right? Ha.) But yes...has anyone had any troubles with a theatrical boy/girlfriend?
