  • Indigo hair dye did not work for me :-(. Help?

    I tried the two step process of first dyeing my hair with henna and then with indigo. After a whole day of being covered with goop - first henna, then indigo - I hoped for jet black hair. I have previously used commercial hair dye - about 3 months ago. I waited out the 3 months so the chemicals wont affect the henna/indigo hair dye process.

    I have a rainbow colored mess of grey, reddish, brown roots and black hair ends. (The black color is from the long ago used commercial hair dye)Help! What did I do wrong. I followed the step-by-step process laid out in several websites.
