I've been looking into the Buck Vantage knife. Originally I was looking at the Select, which has a 420HC blade, but today I went to the store and saw the Avid version which has the Dymondwood handle, and I really like it. Problem is, it has the 13C26 blade rather than the 420HC. Now, a knife to me is useless unless I can easily sharpen it myself - which leads me to ask about the difficulty of sharpening this type of steel.

I currently own a Buck Odyssey (420HC), Buck Scholar (440A), and Gerber Remix (not even sure what that steel is...) to name a few.

I've had this knife (Meyerco Camp USA Blackie Collins 440 steel) for a while, and I've tried sharpening it with wet stones, ceramics, and a kitchen knife sharpener, with no luck. I've considered that maybe I'm just doing something wrong, but I have/had other knives with 440 blades and I've sharpened them easily. I know there are different types of 440, but should that make that much of a difference? It doesn't say what type it is, just that it is. I also can't find any information on the knife, since I don't have a model name or number for it.

Why did you choose it and how long have you been using it?

do any of the 2008 PT Cruisers come without cruise control?

I've been looking into getting a .22 because of the larger pellet size, but I've heard that that size is losing popularity and may become nonexistent soon. I'm not talking about specific guns here, just the pellet sizes.

I'm wondering what are some good parlor guitars out there with solid tops that aren't too expensive

microwave or stove? I'm not talking about convenience, because obviously microwaving is easy, I'm talking about taste.

My fiance is considering getting a 2007 suzuki reno, and I am looking for information on this vehicle. I've heard that hatchbacks like this one are basically death traps for whoever sits in the back if they get rear-ended, so I am very curious about that.
